Departed from KLIA at 9.15am on Saturday, December 22, 2018 after 30 minutes delay from schedule at 8.45am due to cargo loading and arrived at Kuching International Airport at 10.55am. Airport taxi charges RM80 to go to Damai Beach Resort so I called Grab which charged RM50.
Only allowed to check in at 3pm so waited at the empty bar till the room is available.
Lucky for me it's ready before 2pm.
Went for lunch at Satang Cafe at 2.33pm. Ordered Damai beef ginger (RM21) and papaya juice (RM10.90) with additional rice (RM3.30). Left at 4.05pm.
On Sunday, December 23, 2018, I had breakfast buffet from 8.05am to 9.25am at Satang Cafe.
Then walked slowly to Sarawak Cultural Village at 9.33am and arrived at 9.46am. Watched the traditional show from 11.30am to 12.15pm.
Ordered mee kolok (RM8.50) and hot sour plum with kalamansi juice (RM6.35) at Sarawak Ethnic Kitchen for lunch. So disappointed with the mee kolok as it was tasteless.
Left Sarawak Cultural Village at 1.09pm and reached Damai Beach Resort at 1.30pm. Ordered sambal udang (RM31) ~ wok fried prawn with white rice and ulam ~ and honeydew juice (RM10.90) for dinner at Satang Cafe from 5.45pm to 6.50pm.
Took away mango cheese cake (RM7.90). The cake costs RM10.90 per piece and reduced to RM7.90 after 5pm.
On Monday, December 24, 2018, I had breakfast buffet from 6.45am to 7.25am and took Grab at 7.47am after checked out. I reached Kuching International Airport at 10.30am and landed at Sibu Airport at 11.09am.
Till next week, glad to be spending the weekend by the beach.
