Dinner at Little People Cafe

Little People Cafe is located at G-01, Avantas Residences, 162, Jalan Klang Lama, 58200 Kuala Lumpur. 

Its operating hours are from 10am to 11pm daily. It is closed on Tuesday.

It serves croissant, granola, salad, pasta, ice-cream, cakes, coffee, tea and others.

Went there for dinner on Friday, February 21, 2019. Ordered seafood arrabiata tagliatelle (RM28) ~ fresh tiger prawn, calamari, white wine, spicy tomato sauce ~ 

pollo bowl (RM18), orange juice (RM12)

and rose lychee cake (RM12).

Lunch at Pokok KL Cafe

Pokok KL Cafe is located at MAHSA Avenue, Block B, Jalan Elmu, off Jalan Universiti, 59100 Kuala Lumpur. Its operating hours are from 9am to 9pm daily.

Three of us went to this glasshouse cafe for lunch on Monday, March 4, 2019.

I had Moroccan lamb wrap served with salad (RM21.20) and watermelon juice (RM10.60) while

 my colleagues had spaghetti carbonara with poached eggs and 

 mashed avocado bruschetta with sunny side up eggs.

We also shared the signature chocolate lava with ice-cream and berries (RM12).

Taste ~ delicious

Price ~ affordable

Service ~ order and pay at the counter so not much of a service

Dinner at Jibril

Jibril is located at 25, Jalan SS15/4b, SS15, 47500 Subang Jaya, Selangor. It opens from 12pm to 12am daily.

It is a mysterious speakeasy bar hidden behind brick wall. There is no signboard to the place. 

The door is actually behind Sangkaya ice-cream parlour. 

My friend and I went there for dinner on Saturday, February 23, 2019.

We ordered the couple set of salted egg butter chicken rice (RM49.90) which includes Potter ~ non-alcoholic butter beer mocktail named after Harry Potter ~ and Monroe ~ non-alcoholic white wine berries mocktail named after Marilyn Monroe ~

and ice-cream.

Celebrating birthday at Strangers at 47

On Saturday, February 23, 2019, I treated a friend for her birthday at Strangers at 47. Her actual birthday was on Thursday, February 14. Strangers at 47 is located at 45, 47 & 49, Jalan 17/45, 46400 Petaling Jaya. Opening hours are from 9 am to 10 pm on weekend and 8 am to 10 pm on weekdays. It is closed on Tuesday. 

It serves savoury and sweet crepes as well as lava cake.

All the savoury crepes come with cheese.

 I had watermelon juice (RM12.50) and she had milk (RM6).

We shared the BBC (Big Breakfast crepe) (RM24) ~ wholemeal crepe, Spanish chicken sausage, smoked chicken ham, butter sauteed portobello & spinach, golden hash brown, scrambled eggs, caramelised onions, baked beans ~ and houjicha lava cake with ice-cream (RM17).

Celebrating birthday at Tamu By Santai

On Sunday, February 16, 2019, I treated an ex-colleague for her birthday at Tamu by Santai. Her actual birthday was on Monday, February 11, 2019. Tamu by Santai is located at Lot LG1.09, KL Gateway Mall, Piazza Area, No.2, Jalan Kerinchi, Gerbang Kerinchi Lestari, Kampung Kerinchi, 59200 KL. Opening hours are from 10 am to 9.45 pm daily.

 I had sour sop juice (RM9.34) and she had teh tarik (RM3.30).

 We shared Tamu Special Platter (RM15), bihun Hong Kong (RM14.06) and ABC (RM10.28).

Location ~ convenient as it is in a shopping mall
