Lunch at The Garage KL

The Garage KL serves western food. It is located at 841, Jalan Hillview, Taman Sri Ukay, 68000 Ampang, Selangor. Its business hours are 12pm to 12am from Monday to Thursday, 12pm to 1am on Friday, 9am to 1am on Saturday and 9am to 12am on Sunday. Went there for lunch on Sunday, March 26, 2017.

We had hot mocha (RM12), caramel macchiato (RM12), chamomile tea (RM8),

 stir fried beef pasta (RM23),

 beef bacon carbonara (RM20),

beef bacon aglio olio (RM18)

and Hawaiian pizza (RM22).

Wedding reception at Dewan Serbaguna Lembah Keramat

I was invited to a colleague's wedding reception at Dewan Serbaguna MPAJ, Jalan AU5, Lembah Keramat, 54200 KL on Saturday, March 4, 2017.

Attended their marriage solemnisation ceremony at Masjid Usamah Bin Zaid located at Jalan 2/27a, 53300 KL at 5.30 pm on Friday, March 3, 2017.  

Didn't get to see the contents of the dowry boxes.

Never been to a Malay marriage solemnisation ceremony before, it was quite a refreshing experience. The ceremony was not as I expected.  Guess I watched too many Malay dramas lately.

Attended the wedding reception the next day at 1pm and stayed on till 2.30pm. 

It was great to see my ex-boss and ex-colleagues along with current colleagues.

Manicure and pedicure at Nail Bar

A week before my colleague got hitched, we went for manicure and pedicure. We decided to go to Nail Bar located at Lot F1-16, AEON Big Shopping Centre, Jalan 8/27A, Seksyen 5, Wangsa Maju, 53300 KL on Sunday, February 26, 2017.

I did classic manicure + hydrating pedicure for RM99 and she did hydrating manicure + hydrating pedicure for RM140.

It has been almost a year since the last time we did this together.

Right after we were done, we went for lunch at Jom Western located at G.47, Ground Floor, AEON Big Shopping Centre. Its opening hours are from 9 am to 10 pm.

I had wantan noodles with beef and hot barley lemon while she had wantan noodles with chicken and teh tarik.

Celebrating birthday at Huckleberry Food & Fare and Croisserie Artisan Bakery

On Saturday, February 18, 2017, two of us treated a friend for her birthday lunch at Huckleberry Food & Fare located at 2G & 4G, Jalan Media Setia 2, Plaza Damansara, Damansara Heights, 50490 KL. Her actual birthday was on February 14. Its opening hours are from 7.30 am to 4.30 pm on Monday and 7.30 am to midnight from Tuesday to Sunday.

We  had shroom omelette (RM18.90)
~ omelette with thinly sliced fresh button mushrooms served with salad and bread ~

and huckleberry house salad (RM17.80)
~ fresh salad greens, baby spinach, red cabbage, baby tomatoes, green beans, mixed seeds & nuts tossed with French dressing ~

After lunch, we went to Croisserie Artisan Bakery located at No.14 Jalan Medan Setia 2, Plaza Damansara, 36, Medan Setia 2, Bukit Damansara, 50490 Kuala Lumpur.

We had chocolate cake (RM13) and cheese cake (RM9.50)

Lunch at Chemistry Cafe + Lab

Chemistry Cafe + Lab is located at No.29-G, Jalan Maju Ria 2, Blok A Plaza Wangsa Maju, Seksyen 10, Wangsa Maju, 53300 Kuala Lumpur. There are 2 other outlets in Klang Valley. 

Its business hours are from 9am to 11pm on Sunday till Thursday and from 9am to 12am on Friday and Saturday. 

Went there for lunch on Thursday, February 9, 2017.

We had mix grilled platter, mango mania, chamomile tea,

 oreo crazy crush waffles and chocolate caramel drizzle waffles. I ordered pancake but was informed after we had paid and already seated that it was not available so we both ended up with waffles.
