High on sugar afternoon tea at Thirty8

On Saturday, July 14, 2018, my friend and I went for high on sugar afternoon tea at Thirty8, Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur.
We started with caprese salad (tomato, mozzarella, basil and olive oil), shake salad (Quinoa, pomegranate, almonds, lettuce and feta cheese), black angus beef meatballs (paprika sauce, capsicum, champignon, sour cream and chive), steamed sea bass with tofu, bamboo and cabbage, shrimp and squids dumplings, curry masala potato puff, chicken wok-fried carrot cake,
chicken spring roll and assorted dim sum (prawn, vegetable and chicken) served at our table.
Tea selection consists of English Breakfast, Earl Grey, fancy Sencha, pure chamomile, peppermint, raspberry royal, masala chai and Morgenthau.
The buffet includes scones served with cream and jam, lollipops,

delicate cakes,

macarons,

chocolates,

spicy dry noodle, minced chicken dry noodle, seaweed fish ball noodle and wan tan noodle soup

with choice of noodles: vermicelli, pan mee and silver needle

and three flavours of ice-cream.
