Looking for kek lapis and laksa Sarawak

Met up my classmate from university this afternoon. She took the day off today. We haven't met each other since we graduated which is more than ten years ago. She looks the same to me :)

Our itinerary includes looking for kek lapis
 and having laksa Sarawak.
Kek lapis Sarawak is a layered cake, traditionally served in Sarawak. Laksa Sarawak is a noodle soup with a base of sambal belacan, sour tamarind, garlic, galangal, lemon grass and coconut milk, topped with omelette strips, chicken strips, prawns, fresh coriander, lime, bean sprouts and sliced fried tofu.

Decided to go to Mira Cake House for kek lapis Sarawak and laksa Sarawak at Mom's Laksa Cafe.
Bought eight kek lapis and the laksa was delicious.  More importantly, it was great to meet up after all these years.

Till next week, looking forward to be back in my hometown soon.
