Till we meet again

After almost nine years, I tendered my resignation on Tuesday, June 3, 2014. Last Monday, July 14, 2014 was my last working day and now I'm taking a break before I start work at a new place.  July 31, 2014 will mark my 9 years and a month with my current employer.

As the tradition goes, I had farewell breakfast, lunch and dinner. My first farewell lunch was at Black Market with my ex-boss, my boss of 8 years on Thursday, June, 26, 2014. That was my first and only lunch alone with him. 

The following day, June 27, 2014, I had farewell lunch at Mitasu Japanese Restaurant with a colleague from Corporate Direct Department.

On Tuesday, July 1, 2014, I had breakfast at Black Market with an ex-colleague who is currently working at Tokio Marine Insurance Berhad. I had fruity pancake… yum yum
On Friday, July 4, 2014, I had lunch at Spasso Milano with four colleagues from Broking Department and a colleague from Agency 1.

On Monday, July 7, 2014, I had lunch at Capriccosa Restaurant with a colleague from Single Actuarial Organisation. We had my favorite pizza ~ four kinds of cheese ~ Quattro Formaggi,
  seafood pomodoro spaghetti ~ mussels, calamari, tuna and clams in homemade tomato sauce ~
 lemon tea and soup.
On Wednesday, July 9, 2014, I had lunch at Kamimura Japanese Restaurant with two colleagues from Underwriting Department and an ex-colleague who are currently working at MSIG Insurance Berhad.


That night, I had dinner at BBQ Thai located at Jalan Klang Lama with another colleague from Broking Department. 
It is an open air restaurant and it also has wooden huts.
It opens daily from 5 pm to 1 am.



 We ordered Thai BBQ lamb, 
kailan with salted fish,
steam squid in Thai sauce,
Thai style cassava with coconut milk
and pandan juice.
The next day, July 10, 2014, I had breakfast at Delicious Cafe with another two colleagues from Underwriting Department and a colleague from Broking Department. I had All Delicious Big Breakfast ~ two eggs, chicken sausage, beef bacon, grilled mushroom and tomatoes ~
while the three of them had Eggs Royale with smoked salmon on toasted English muffin,
Eggs Benedict with turkey bacon on toasted English muffin 
and Croque Madame with turkey bacon, fried egg and cheese sauce on toasted multigrain.
 The breakfast set comes with coffee, tea or juice.

I had lunch at Fish & Co with two ex-colleagues who are currently working at Tokio Marine Insurance Berhad and an ex-colleague who recently joined ACE Jerneh Insurance Berhad. 

On Friday, July 11, 2014, I had lunch at Sushi Zanmai with ten colleagues from Health Department.




I also had a piece of New York Cheese cake from Coffee Bean.

That night, I had dinner at Busaba Heavenly Thai Restaurant located at Bangsar Shopping Centre with another three colleagues from Health Department.
We had our starter,
mango kerabu,
tomyam soup,
fish fillet in Thai sauce,
pandan chicken
asparagus
and desserts,



Lastly, on Monday, July 14, 2014, I had dinner at Komugi Cafe, Pavilion with a colleague from Broking Department.
Komugi offers authentic variety of handmade Japanese breads, cakes and confectioneries.
 We had Caesar salad, omelette with cheese
Praline chocolate gateau, yam coconut and strawberry macaroons
and hot chocolate.
These non-stop free meals are making me fat... Hope to get rid of the fat before I start work at the new place.

In the morning, I received a bouquet of Winnie the Pooh
 a plant
cards
and in the afternoon, a piece of cheese cake.

Till next week, thanks a lot, everyone! Nice knowing all of you! Till we meet again...
