My day

The day of the year is here...

Celebration began on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 with lunch with 13 of my colleagues at La Boca Latino Bar located at C3.10.03, Level 3, Pavilion KL.
La Boca Latino Bar was opened on August 31, 2012. 
Its business hours are from 9am to 1am on Sunday to Thursday and from 9am to 2am on Friday and Saturday.
Their menu features a wide range of Latin dishes.
Our starters... 
Croquetas de pescado
~ breaded shredded fish and dill bechamel served with garlic aioli and chipotle dipping sauce ~
 and calamari skewers
~ grilled calamari with sauteed garlic ~
Our main course...
club sandwich,
roasted lamb
~ broiled leg of lamb slices with potato and mint pesto ~
and chicken fajitas 
~ chicken strips served sizzling with guacamole, sour cream, tomato salsa and tortilla bread ~
Our desserts...
Alfajores
~ coconut and chocolate biscuits filled with creamy caramel confection made from milk and sugar served with vanilla ice-cream ~
and churros
~ fried dough pastry dusted with cinnamon sugar ~
followed by a small celebration in the office in the afternoon.
On Thursday, July 25, 2013, shared lunch at Delicious with a colleague who was born on the same day. We chose to have Caesar salad,
teriyaki chicken burger and 
 fish and chips
It was so filling that we can't finish the wedges and French fries we gotta take-away.

Later in the evening, I had dinner at Spasso Milano located at Lot 6.44 & 6.45, Level 6, Pavilion KL with three friends. Spasso Milano is an Italian restaurant which offers cuisine representing all things Italian.


I had my hot chocolate :)
We shared smoked duck breast
~ sliced home-smoked duck breast & avocado drizzled with hazelnut oil ~ 
squid aglio olio,
Bianca Felix pizza
~ oregano, caper, parmesan & mozzarella ~
and Napolitana pizza
~ tomato, anchovy, caper, oregano and mozzarella ~
 followed by desserts at Meet Fresh located at Lot 6.35, Level 6, Pavilion KL.
We ordered Q Mochi + tofu pudding with honey bean and twist combination of herbs jelly blended ice + soybean blended ice + red bean + pearl + taro ball and white gourd tea. 
The next afternoon, a friend treated me afternoon tea at Secret Recipe, The Weld and posted this on his fb page ^^
Later in the evening, another dinner treat :)
This time it's at Rojmaan Nargile Lounge & Restaurant, No.4, Jalan Waras 1, Taman Connaught, 56000 Cheras, Kuala Lumpur.



Homemade mushroom soup
and yoghurt soup 
~ yoghurt, chicken and rice ~
Moussaka
~ layer of egg plant and minced beef topped with mozzarella cheese ~
Rojmaan pizza 
~ chicken, turkey ham, beef bacon, mushrooms, black olives, capsicum, cheese and pineapple ~
apple juice and orange juice.
Lastly, lunch with my cousin last Sunday, August 4, 2013.  She just got back from her one-month South America trip end of last month. Our lunch was at Plan B located at Lot G-073-075, Ground Floor, MId Valley Megamall.
Spicy Aglio Olio Spaghettini
~ olive oil, slow-roasted garlic & chillies ~
Spicy Crabmeat Linguine
~ crabmeat, lemongrass, kaffir lime, prawn oil & tomatoes ~
 hot chocolate
 red velvet cake
