Morning walk in Taman Tasik Perdana

Familiar with the idiom 'walk in the park'?  Yeah, it means something that is very easy to do or accomplish, a piece of cake...  Anyway, here I mean it literally.

Last Thursday, on Thaipusam Day, I went to Taman Tasik Perdana or Perdana Lake Gardens for the first time after years of staying in KL.

Taman Tasik Perdana is the brainchild of Alfred Venning, the British State Treasurer in the 1880s.
It is built around an artificial lake.
There are children playgrounds, exercise stations, jogging tracks,
lots of artificial waterfalls,

fountains,
ducks swimming in the lake,
Panggung Anniversari,
~ Panggung Anniversari, set in a secluded valley, is a regular venue for musical and cultural performances ~
Taman Rusa dan Kancil where there are a few mouse deers and deers lazing around, Taman Herba and many many more.

We walk around the park and this unique plant caught my eyes
~ look like huge mushrooms, huh? ~

Walking in the park is a good exercise.  It is so refreshing and this is definitely a good place to jog or walk.  I'm gonna come again, for sure.

Till next week, looking forward to my next visits
