Dinner at Boat Noodle Thai Restaurant

Last Friday, July 3, 2015, three of us had dinner at Boat Noodle Thai Restaurant located at 02-49-10 & 02-49-11, 2nd Floor, Berjaya Times Square, 1, Jalan Imbi, 55100 KL. Its business hours are from 11am to 9.30pm daily.

We had cha-yen ~ Thai iced tea ~ (RM6.90), ice blended Thai tea (RM8.90), Oishi Genmai green tea (RM3.80)

6 bowls of Ayutthaya beef Thai rice noodle (RM1.90/bowl), 4 bowls of Pathumthani beef Thai rice noodle (RM1.90/bowl), 2 bowls of Ayutthaya chicken Thai rice noodle (RM1.90/bowl),  

 chicken wings (RM4.90), 

 Thai popeye's tempura (RM6.90)

and ka num tuay (RM1.00/2 pieces) as dessert.

Location ~ city centre

Food portion ~ noodle comes in small bowl is acceptable but the chicken wings in tiny pieces are a disappointment!

Taste ~ good

Price ~ affordable

Service ~ ok

Coming back? ~ probably

Movie Day at Mid Valley

On Saturday, June 27, 2015, we had lunch at Noodle Station located at S-069, 2nd Floor, Mid Valley Mega Mall, 59200 KL.

It is called Noodle Station but noodles are not the only food in the menu. It also serves a wide range of local and western food including rice dishes, sandwiches, chicken chop, fish and chip, steak, etc.

However, we chose to have noodles, springy noodle with chicken delight roll topped with luscious pieces of chicken roll and deep fried chicken dumplings and springy noodle with fish ball topped with fish balls, fish cakes and deep fried chicken dumplings.

After lunch, we watched movie ~ Avengers: Age of Ultron... I know, I know, it was released on April 30, 2015 and we just watched it now :| A bit outdated but at least we're not the only ones... It was not an empty hall. 

Right after the movie, we went for dessert at Jonker Sweets Dessert. We had red bean (RM4.50) and pak kor fu chuk (RM4.50).

Dinner at Sushi Zanmai

Last Monday, June 22, 2015, three of us had dinner at Sushi Zanmai located at Lot CC 06,07,08, Concourse Level, Nu Sentral Mall. It has been over six months since our last dinner together. 

We had green tea (RM1.20),
Pari Pari Kani Salada ~ crabmeat, flying-fish roe & fresh vegetables (RM17.80),

Ebi Tempura (RM12.80),

Chicken Gyoza ~ pan-seared chicken & vegetable dumpling (RM13.80),

Kakiage Udon ~ udon with fried prawn & vegetables (RM26.80),

Mentaiko Spider Roll ~ soft shell crab sushi roll topped with avocado & cod roe mayonnaise (RM19.80),

and lastly, cheese stick ~ rich cheese ice-cream (RM9.80).

Good meal and good time in good company.

Celebrating birthday at B.Bap Korean Food Restaurant

On Thursday, June 18, 2015, we treated a friend for dinner at B.Bap Korean Food Restaurant located at Lot GF.08, Nu Sentral Mall on the eve of her birthday.

We ordered spicy Korean chicken ramyeon

seafood kimchi jjigae 
~ kimchi stew with traditional tofu served with rice ~

and two other dishes

with free flow of side dishes

and my favourite Korean pancake

~ haemul pajeon with spring onions and seafood ~

The food was good and the four of us had a good time catching up.

Lunch at Coffee Ritual

In the afternoon, we went for lunch at Coffee Ritual located at 68, Jalan SS21/39, Damansara Utama, 47400 Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Its business hours are from 12pm to 10pm daily.

We ordered Cappucino and chamomile tea,

mushroom soup for starter,

beef rissoles
~ Italian beef rissoles with fresh tomato salsa ~

 mushroom crepes
~ mixed stir-fried mushroom crepes served with salad and Bechamel sauce ~
as main course

 and hazelnut chocolate for dessert.

Location ~ quite a distance

Food presentation ~ acceptable

Taste ~ good

Price ~ affordable

Service ~ alright... until the waitress asked for the teapot.

Are you kidding me?! Not enough teapots to serve tea? We looked around and counted four other teapots so there are only five teapots in the cafe?! I'm speechless :-|

Coming back? ~ If happened to be nearby and if there is a teapot available... lol

Vitagen Healthy Digestion Walk 2015

Last Sunday, June 14, 2015, I joined the Vitagen Healthy Digestion Walk 2015 at Tasik Persekutuan Bukit Kiara with my ex-colleagues.

We collected our T-shirts

and bibs 

on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Sunway Pyramid.

It was raining so we started walking without warm-up activity.

Collection of goodie bag only commenced at 10am.  With nothing much to do as most of the games booths are for kids, we decided to go for breakfast. Well, I had fish ball kuey teow soup :-)

We came back in time for lucky draw but no luck :(

We collected the goodie bag after the lucky draw.

We also received a certificate of participation.

 

We went home and out for lunch later...

Dinner at Peppers Cafe, Tanahmas Hotel

Caught up with an old friend for dinner today at Peppers Cafe, Tanahmas Hotel located at Lot 277, Block 5, Jalan Kampung Nyabor, 96007 Sibu.

We had honeydew juice,

 

fuzhon style kuay teow,

Singapore style mee hoon

and dessert,
matcha cheese cake and black charcoal cheese cake. 
 

Didn't expect the portion of the noodles is so big ~ definitely not a portion for one person ~ that we can't even finish... We didn't even finish the desserts... Would've ordered one if we have known :(
