Lunch at Restoran Sri Ayutthaya

Restoran Sri Ayutthaya has 3 outlets in Klang Valley. We went for lunch on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at their outlet at 2, Jalan Wangsa Delima, Seksyen 5, Wangsa Maju,53300 KL. Its business hours are from 11am to 12am daily.

We ordered apple juice (RM8.39), lychee & young coconut juice (RM15.94), watermelon juice (RM8.39), thab thim grob (RM9.33) and ice kacang (RM9.33).

We shared tomyam chicken (RM30 for 2 servings), pandan chicken (RM5.56 per piece), butter prawn (RM39 for small serving), fried kailan with salted fish (RM42.30 for 1.5 servings), steamed rice (RM3.67 per person)

 and garlic lime steamed fish (RM78).

Location ~ quite far

Seating ~ indoor and outdoor

Food presentation ~ typical

Taste ~ alright except pandan chicken

Price ~ too pricey (shocking price for kailan)

Service ~ well served

Coming back? ~ no

Brunch at 2nd Floor Kitchen & Bar

2nd Floor Kitchen & Bar is located at 46A, Persiaran Zaaba, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, 60000 Kuala Lumpur. 

Its operating hours are from 6pm to 12am daily for dinner and from  10am onwards from Friday to Sunday. It is closed on Monday.

Went there for brunch last Saturday, November 18, 2017.

We are the first and only customers when we came around 10.35 am until a couple came in around noon.

We ordered orange juice, 

 baked eggs with chicken (RM19),

trio mushroom,

and molten lava cake.

Location ~ quite a distance

Seating ~ indoor only

Food presentation ~ good

Taste ~ delicious

Price ~ a bit pricey

Service ~ acceptable

Coming back? ~ sure

Farewell lunch at Chilis Espresso

Our team had a farewell lunch for our colleague whose last working day was yesterday, November 14, 2017. 

Six of us went to Chilis Epresso on Thursday, November 2, 2017. It serves Malaysian cuisine. It is located at G46/47,Ground Floor, Nu Sentral Mall, 50470 Kuala Lumpur. Its business hours are from 10 am to 10 pm daily.

I had Thai grilled chicken with mango kerabu and steamed rice (RM16.80) and hot lemon tea.

 My colleagues had green curry chicken, papadom and steamed rice (RM16.80),

aglio olio tiger prawn spaghetti (RM23.80) and three other dishes that I didn't get to snap photos. 

So glad that she finally decided to leave. Hopefully she will find happiness out of work.

Medical check-up at BP Healthcare @ OUG

As I am entitled to claim for yearly medical check-up, I went and did it on Monday, October 23, 2017.

I chose to do it at BP Healthcare located at 82, Jalan Mega Mendung, 58300 KL. My RM720 package consists of the following:

* General blood screening (60 tests)

. Rheumatoid factor
. Hepatitis A screening
. Hepatitis B screening
. Urine FEME
. VDRL
. Lipid profile
. Liver function test

* Tumor marker
. CEA - Gastrointestinal tract marker
. AFP - Liver and testicular marker
. CA 125 - Ovarian cancer

* Resting electrocardiograph (ECG)
* Chest X-Ray
* Ultrasound breast
* Ultrasound upper abdomen
* Ultrasound pelvis

I collected the results a week later, Monday, October 30, 2017. I'm glad everything is alright except one. Looks like I have to exercise and lose my weight :P

Visiting a patient at Columbia Asia Hospital Cheras

My colleague was admitted to Columbia Asia Hospital Cheras on Tuesday, October 24, 2017. Her surgery was scheduled at 8.30 am the next day and it went well.

I went to the hospital at 9.15 pm on Friday, October 27, 2017. Instead of the typical fruit basket, I bought her a tin of cookies.

She was discharged the next day, Saturday, October 28, 2017 for 38 days rest from work.

Allianz Pacer Run 2017

I haven't joined any walking or running events for a long time. The last one was probably Kordel's Charity Fun Walk on October 25, 2015. That's over two years ago. Last Sunday, October 29, 2017, I joined the 3rd Annual Allianz Run with my colleagues. The registration fee is RM30.

I collected the T-shirt and bib

on Thursday, October 26, 2017 behind Mike Gallery, Level 3, Nu Sentral Mall, Kuala Lumpur around 7.30 pm.

We were flagged off at 7am. The 6km run started and ended at Nu Sentral Open Car Park, Kuala Lumpur.

We received a goodie bag

 and a finisher medal upon completion.
