On Saturday, March 22, 2014, I joined the Thirsty Run 2014 with two of my colleagues. Thirsty Runner 2014 - We Run for Water is an effort to increase awareness on the importance of water sustainability. It aimed to ensure the sustainable development of our country and realisation of all human rights through the access to water. It was organised by Water and Energy Consumer Association of Malaysia (WECAM) in conjunction with the World Water Day 2014.
This water-themed run, the first of its kind in Malaysia, will provide a great platform to educate participants on the significance of access to safe and clean water that leads towards a healthier lifestyle.
My colleague collected our T-shirts and bibs on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Institute of Marketing Malaysia Training Centre, 1fr - 1st Floor, Bangunan SKPPK, Jalan SS9A/17, 47300 Petaling Jaya.

We were flagged off at 7.30 am. The 7km run started and ended at Dataran Petaling Jaya.
We received a finisher medal and a goodie bag upon completion.
