Hair colouring

It is time to colour my hair so on Sunday, November 23, 2014, I went to Hairazone Saloon located at No.43, Jalan Dwitasik 1, Dataran Dwitasik, Bandar Sri Permaisuri, 56000 Cheras, KL.

I took the RM168 package of hair cut + colour + treatment. I was there from 10.45pm to 2pm.

It's over 3 hours but the outcome is worth it! This time it's red (again!). Good service with reasonable price, I'll probably come again...

Till next week, hoping for a longer lasting colour.

Hair Treatment

After having my hair coloured and bleached, I have to face the consequences ~ hair treatment. For that, I decided to go to Hairworx Studio. It is located at No.22, Jalan Kuchai Maju 9, Kuchai Entrepreneurs Park, off Jalan Kuchai Lama, 58200 KL.

With the RM250 package, I have to go for two sessions. Went for the first session on Sunday, May 25, 2014. I was there around 2pm and left before 5pm. Gosh, even the treatment was almost as long as the coloring...

Went for the second session on Saturday, June 14, 2014. I was there around 2pm and left before 4pm. Glad that the second session was shorter than the first one.

The services were alright but a bit pricey. With the damage on my hair, guess I gotta continue this treatment on a regular basis :(

Hair colouring

It is time to colour my hair so on Sunday, April 13, 2014, I went to Kaiza Hairdressing. It is located at No.60, Dataran Dwitasik, Jalan Dwitasik, Bandar Sri Permaisuri, 56000 Cheras, KL.

After a few failed attempts to colour my hair, this time I decided to 'bleach' my hair first before  I colour it. I was there around 2pm and left before 6pm.

It's almost 4 hours but the outcome is worth it! I finally got the colour that I want. Everyone notices the colour... well, guess it's hard not to :)

Till next week, let's see how long this colour will last...

Hair colouring

Decided that it is time to colour my hair. Black is kinda normal...  so last Saturday I went to iStilo hair studio at The Sphere, Bangsar South.

As I stood outside the salon reading the price list, one of the hairstylists came out and told me about their latest promotion package of RM110 for 3 services/treatments.  I was not interested as I already made up my mind just to colour my hair which is not part of the promotion package.  He then told me that I could have my hair coloured and choose any 3 of the services/treatments in the package for only RM160 which means my hair colouring is only RM50 (Wow!) Of course, I took the deal.  I only used 1 service/treatment this time which is Cellophane - henna wax and I'm gonna use the other two services/treatments in my next visit. Hmmm haven't decide which one to choose...


The process started at 11.20 am and finished at 1.20 pm.  The result... as usual, my black hair just refused to give way to other colours... so nobody notices any changes in my hair colour... what a waste.

Hair straightening

I have unmanageable hair so I kinda have to do hair straightening which is often called as "rebonding" twice a year.  I usually don't go to the same hair salon whatever the outcome is.  

This afternoon I saw a banner outside a hair salon ~ Cut and Curl Hair Image Studio ~ :  rebonding for all hair length from RM68  to RM188.  I walked in and asked how much it would cost for my hair.  The hairstylist said it is up to me to choose as the price is the same for all hair length and the different is only the products used.  For RM188, Shiseido products are used. There are 7 prices to choose from: RM68, RM88, RM108, RM128, RM148, RM168 and RM188.  Taking into consideration that I am gonna go through this whole process again maybe in 6 months' time, I chose the one that costs RM128.

I was told that it would take 3 hours which is fine with me. It started at 4 pm.  I was so sleepy from the start...  while waiting, I noticed that there are only 5 hairdressing tables.  Wow, this must be the smallest hair salon I've ever been!

I was getting hungry and was surprised that by 8 pm, I have not had my hair steamed.  I know rebonding is a very time consuming process but not this longgg?!  It was 8.45 pm when it was finally done.  Wow, that is almost 5 hours!  

I've actually taken the 'before and after' photos to see if the outcome of that 4 hours and 45 minutes is worth it but looking at both photos, I can't see any difference.  Well, it's not that bad, really, at least my hair now stays in place.
