Lunch at Hidang Restaurant and durian at Durian BB Park

On Saturday, June 17, 2023, my friend and I had lunch at Hidang Restaurant located at 20, Jalan Mesra, Off Jalan Damai, 55000 Kuala Lumpur. It opens daily from 11am to 6pm and closes on Friday.

 Reservation is required so my friend texted the restaurant for reservation but was informed to just walk-in. 

It was full when we arrived at 12.05 pm and we have to wait for 10 minutes before we got a table.

I had hot lemon (RM3.90) while my friend had sirap bandung (RM3.90).

We had rice (RM7.80) and shared keli berlado (RM29.90), jenahak asam pedas (RM29.90), daging salai masak lemak (RM29.90) and telur dadar (RM12.90). 

We also shared chocolate cake (RM14.90) as dessert.

After lunch, we had durian at Durian BB located at 15, Jalan Kamuning, Imbi, 55100 Kuala Lumpur. It opens daily from 12pm to 100pm. We shared Golden Bun D13 (RM54).

Lunch and dessert at Lola by Serai Group

On Sunday, January 22, 2023, my friend and I had lunch at Lola by Serai Group Restaurant located at 2A, Jalan Bukit Kiara 1, Bukit Kiara, 60000 Kuala Lumpur. It opens daily from 8.30am to 10pm.

My friend had mango juice (RM20.88) while I had watermelon (RM19.72).

My friend had beef moussaka (RM55.68)

~ greek style lasagna with eggplant, potato, and bechamel sauce ~

while I had lamb souvlaki (RM52.20) 

~ flat bread, fresh tomato, sumac onion, lettuce heart, yoghurt sauce, and smoked chilli sauce served with fries ~

After lunch, I had English breakfast tea (RM15.08) and orange suji cake (RM20.88) 

while my friend had caffe latte (RM15.08) and banana cake with ice-cream (RM17.40).

Lunch at Little Bourke and dessert at Nutmeg

Little Bourke is located at 124, Jalan Burhanuddin Helmi, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, 60000 Kuala Lumpur. Its operating hours are from 7.30am to 5pm from Monday to Friday and from 7.30am to 6pm on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.

I went there for lunch with my ex-colleague on Tuesday, July 30, 2019.

I had chicken parma, salad and potatoes (RM36) and

she had 200g steak medium rare (RM69).

After lunch, we drove to Bangsar Village II for dessert at Nutmeg located at UGF-28A. Opening hours are from 10am to 10pm daily. I had coconut moonlight cake (RM18.56) and watermelon juice (RM15.08) while my friend had Pietros Dream (Ferrero) cake (RM18.56) and Nutmeg mixed fruit tea (RM12.76).

Lunch at Suki-Ya and dessert at Mighty Monster

Six of us and my friend's two daughters went for buffet lunch at Suki-Ya located at IPC Shopping Centre, L1-17, Level 1, 2, Jalan PJU 7/2, Mutiara Damansara, 47800 Kuala Lumpur on Sunday, July 21, 2019. Buffet lunch (RM34.80++) is from 11.30am to 5pm and buffet dinner (RM41.80++) is from 5pm to 10pm daily. Additional RM3 is imposed for weekend and public holiday.

There are four tasty four bases to choose from

shabu shabu ~ wafer thin slices of meat dipped into simmering konbu borth ~

sukiyaki ~ sweetened soy-sauce broth ~

miso soup ~ fermented soybeans, full of antioxidants ~

kimuchi ~ mildly spicy soup made with authentic kimchi base, spicy miso and various vegetable base ~

After lunch, we went to Mighty Monster located at G-26, No.2, Jalan PJU 7/2, Mutiara Damansara, 47800 Petaling Jaya.  Opening hours are from 10am to 12am.

We shared two waffles.
