Kordel's Family Charity Walk 2019

Last Sunday, September 8, 2019, I joined the annual Kordel's Family Charity Walk for Healthy Joints.

 Entry fee is RM40.

Collection of T-shirt

  and bib

were on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Padang Merbok, Kuala Lumpur between 1 to 5 pm.

We were flagged off at 7.22am after a warm-up session. The 7km walk started and ended at Padang Merbok, Kuala Lumpur. I finished the walk at 8.37am. 

We received a Massimo bun and drinking water for breakfast

as well as goodie bag

 and a finisher medal upon completion.

I stayed on after the walk for lucky draw but left at 9.20am after no luck on 1st round.

Till next week, let's keep walking.

Last Sunday, October 21, 2018, I joined the 10th Annual Kordel's Charity Walk for Healthy Joints.

were on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Padang Merbok, Kuala Lumpur between 2 to 5 pm.

We were flagged off at 7.18am after a warm-up session. The 7km walk started and ended at Padang Merbok, Kuala Lumpur. 

We received a Massimo bun,

goodie bag 

 and a finisher medal upon completion.

We stayed on after the walk for lucky draw but no luck :(

It was a good day to walk as it was cloudy with no sunshine.

Kordel's Charity Fun Walk 2015

Last Sunday, October 25, 2015, I joined the 7th Annual Kordel's Charity Walk for Healthy Joints with my ex-colleague.

Collection of T-shirt,

  bib

and redemption vouchers 

were on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Padang Merbok, Kuala Lumpur between 2 to 5 pm.

We were flagged off at 7.08am after a warm-up session. The 7km walk started and ended at Padang Merbok, Kuala Lumpur. 

We received a Gardenia bun,

two goodie bags 

 and a finisher medal upon completion.

We stayed on after the walk for lucky draw but no luck :(

It was a good day to walk as haze cleared up a bit.

Till next week, hoping that the days ahead are also haze-free...

Kordel's Charity Walk 2014

On Sunday, September 21, 2014, I joined the 6th Annual Kordel's Charity Walk for Healthy Joints with three of my ex-colleagues. Joined it two years ago and missed it last year.

Collection of T-shirts and bibs were on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Padang Merbok, Kuala Lumpur between 2 to 5 pm.

We were flagged off at 7.18am after a warm-up session. The 7km walk started and ended at Padang Merbok, Kuala Lumpur. 

We received a certificate of participation, a goodie bag 

 which includes free vouchers

 and a finisher medal upon completion.

We stayed on after the walk for lucky draw but no luck :(

Anyway, it was real fun. Nice catch-up with ex-colleagues :)

Kordel's Charity Walk 2012

Last Sunday, October 7, 2012, I joined the 4th Annual Kordel's Charity Walk for Healthy Joints with two of my colleagues.  It is aimed to kick-start a healthier lifestyle while raising awareness and funds for an extremely deserving cause - Arthritis Foundation Malaysia.

The Arthritis Foundation Malaysia is a non-profit organization set up to:

1)  increase the awareness of arthritis and its related conditions

2)  look after the welfare of arthritis patients who cannot afford joint replacement

Collection of T-shirts and bibs were on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Padang Merbok, Kuala Lumpur between 3 to 5 pm.

We were flagged off at 7.18am after a warm-up session. The 7km walk started and ended at Padang Merbok, Kuala Lumpur. 

We received a certificate of participation and a goodie bag upon completion.

There were rounds of lucky draw after the walk... Not lucky though :(

Anyway, it was real fun :)
