I had my first birthday treat on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at ATTable located at Ground Floor, Lot 1&2, Menara Chin Hin, 1, Jalan Naga Emas, Bandar Baru Sri Petaling, 57000 Kuala Lumpur.  It opens from 8.30am to 11pm on weekdays and 11am to 11pm on weekend.

I had hot chocolate (RM14.90) while my friend had matcha latte (RM14.90)

We shared sesame Caesar salad (RM25.90) 

~ sesame caesar dressing, cob salad, hazelnut sesame bread crumb, grated parmesan cheese and duck bacon chips ~

grilled salmon & pasta (RM40.90)

~ grilled salmon, saffron cream, pasta, grated parmesan cheese, edaname, garlic chips ~

grilled cheese sandwich (RM22.90)

~ cheddar, mozzarella, truffle cream cheese spread, butter, pickled cucumber, truffle oil, chopped chives ~ 

prawn and sourdough 

and fried calamari.

Lastly, of course, the birthday cake, baked honey brioche + vanilla ice cream (RM18.90)

On Sunday, August 9, 2026, I had lunch treat at Ruang by Cookiez Bar located at Blk C-G-6, Jalan Kuchai Maju 13, Kuchai Exchange, 58200 Kuala Lumpur. It opens daily from 9am to 9.30pm.

We had signature egg drop sandwich

~ handmade brioche bread, crisp lettuce, refreshing cucumber, tangy lemon mayo, scrambled egg and cheddar cheese ~

I had avocado (RM18) and hot Belgium chocolate (RM16.50) while my friend had chicken ham (RM16.50) and cold Belgium chocolate (RM18).

We shared crispy chicken gyoza with chili oil (RM16.50).

Celebrating birthday at AnMour Cafe

On Saturday, June 13, 2026, I treated a friend for her birthday lunch at AnMour Cafe located at 67, Jalan Kuchai Maju 1, Kuchai Entrepreneurs Park, 58200 Kuala Lumpur. It opens daily from 12pm to 9.45pm. Her actual birthday is on June 21.

I ordered hot honey lemon (RM6.84) while she ordered hot earl grey (RM6.84). We also ordered one mushroom soup each (RM16.24)

 Vietnamese seafood spring rolls (RM18.44)

seafood pasta in tomato sauce (RM26.56)

and salmon don (RM28.88).

Lastly, the birthday ice-cream cake, crazy mud pie (RM17.28).

Celebrating the journey of another year!

I had my first birthday treat on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at Alcea Tea & Coffee located at A-03-06, Tamarind Square, Persiaran Multimedia, 63000 Cyberjaya, Selangor.  It opens from 8am to 7pm daily.

I had nasi lemak with grilled chicken and barley

while my friend had big breakfast and long black coffee.

On my birthday, Saturday, July 26, 2025, I received a delivery from bloomspace.co. 

I received money tree

and Golden Pothos.

On Saturday, August 2, 2025, I had lunch treat at Astana Restaurant located at A-01-10, Endah Promenade, Jalan 1/149e, Bandar Baru Sri Petaling, 57000 Kuala Lumpur. It opens daily from 11am to 10pm.

My friend had uzbek mastava (RM17) 

~ traditional uzbek soup Mastava made with tender beef and carrots ~

I had shashlyk chicken, 3 pieces (RM30) ~ marinated chicken cubes skewered on metal sticks ~

We shared baq la zhan ~ crispy eggplant salad ~

khachapuri (RM30) ~ flatbread with homemade dairy cheese ~

vareniki (RM20) ~ potatoes dumplings ~

Lastly, of course, the birthday cakes, 

medovik (RM15) ~ honey layer cake ~ 

and kartoshka  (RM9) ~ Russian chocolate cake ~

Celebrating birthday at Plage Kitchen and Bar

Last Friday, June 27, 2025, I treated a friend for her birthday lunch at Plage Kitchen and Bar located at L1-03A, First Floor, Pinnacle Mall, 1, Jalan Radin Anum, Bandar Baru Sri Petaling, 57000 Kuala Lumpur. It opens daily from 12pm to 2am. Her actual birthday is on June 21.

The beach vibes are great.

I ordered coconut juice, 13.20 while she ordered citrus blossom, 18.70.

We also ordered French morel mushroom risotto, 38.50 ~ risotto rice, aged Parmesan cheese, French morel mushrooms, butter, cream ~

prawn pad Thai, 20.90 ~ Thai rice noodle, homemade pad Thai sauce, prawn, herbs ~

cheezy quesadilla, 16.50

and caeser salad, 20.90 ~ aged parmesan cheese, romaine lettuce, carrot, croutons ~

Last Wednesday, April 30, 2025, I treated a colleague for her birthday lunch at Porto Romano Restaurant located at Mont Kiara Banyan, 28, Jalan Kiara, Mont Kiara, 50480 Kuala Lumpur. It opens daily from 11am to 11pm. Her actual birthday is on April 1.

The birthday girl ordered spaghetti with meatballs, mushroom soup and orange juice.

Two other colleagues ordered Calzone ~ half moon pizza, Coke and lime juice

while I ordered grilled salmon fillet and hot lemon tea.

Last Saturday, April 26, 2025, I treated my friend for his birthday lunch at Absolute Thai located at LG351, 1 Utama Shopping Centre, Lebuh Bandar Utama, Bandar Utama, 47800 Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan. It opens daily from 10am to 10pm. His actual birthday is on April 23.

We ordered hot and spicy clear tomyam,

Japanese bean curd with minced chicken and prawns,

pandan chicken,

and papaya salad.

Last Saturday we went to The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. I had herbal and fruits tea and he had iced lemon tea. We also shared Chicago cheesecake.
