Medical check-up at BP Healthcare @ OUG

As I am entitled to claim for yearly medical check-up, I went and did it on Monday, October 23, 2017.

I chose to do it at BP Healthcare located at 82, Jalan Mega Mendung, 58300 KL. My RM720 package consists of the following:

* General blood screening (60 tests)
. Full blood picture
. Renal function test
. Thyroid function test
. Rheumatoid factor
. Hepatitis A screening
. Hepatitis B screening
. Urine FEME
. VDRL
. Lipid profile
. Liver function test

* Tumor marker
. CEA - Gastrointestinal tract marker
. AFP - Liver and testicular marker
. CA 125 - Ovarian cancer

* Resting electrocardiograph (ECG)
* Chest X-Ray
* Ultrasound breast
* Ultrasound upper abdomen
* Ultrasound pelvis

I collected the results a week later, Monday, October 30, 2017. I'm glad everything is alright except one. Looks like I have to exercise and lose my weight :P

Ultrasound at Columbia Asia Hospital Cheras

Heard about a promotion on breast ultrasound for only RM70 at Columbia Asia Hospital Cheras from a colleague recently. The promotion is held in conjunction with the breast awareness campaign from October 1 to November 30, 2012. 

I did breast examination during my medical check up last year but I didn't do ultrasound so I decided to do it this year. I went to Columbia Asia Hospital Cheras for the ultrasound on Monday, November 26, 2012. 

Columbia Asia Hospital Cheras is located at Lot 33107 Jalan Suakasih, 43200 Cheras, Selangor.  It was launched in February 2011.

Waited a few minutes before I was called in for the ultrasound and a few more minutes after for the results.  Good news ~ everything's well :) yeah!!!

Medical check-up at KLSMC

This year we are entitled to claim for medical check-up biennially so I took the opportunity to go and do one.

I googled for the health screening packages offered in KL and I decided to do it at Kuala Lumpur Sports Medicine Centre.  Guess it never occurred to anyone to do it there, huh?  Their General package of RM288 consists of the following:
* Medical history review
* Physical examination
* Resting electrocardiograph (ECG)
* Free radical test (urine)
* Health screening profile:

• Full blood count
• Lipid profile
• Liver function test
• Renal function test
• Hepatitis B
• Urine FEME
• VDRL
• ABO Grouping & Rh
• Free thyroxine (FT4)
• Rheumatoid factor (RF)
• HbA1c / Glycosylated Hb

When I got my results, I was so happy when the doctor said that it was a very good one and asked me to continue what I'm doing and eating now.  Guess I must have doing right whatever that is hmmmm.  However, the doctor noted that I did not drink enough water and advised me to drink sufficiently.
