Konsert 3 Suara Volume 3

My friend bought our tickets (RM299 each) to Konsert Satu Suara Volume 3 on Saturday, April 1, 2023. 

The concert was held on Saturday, May 13, 2023. We had dinner at Teppanyaki, Sungai Wang Plaza. I had niko soba (RM16.90) and green tea (RM3.50) while my friend had salmon teppanyaki set. 

We reached the Mega Stars Arena, Sungai Wang Plaza at 8.20pm. Our seats are U38 and U39. There is no restrictions to take photos or videos during the concert so the audience can just take photos or record the performances.

It was a great performance by Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza, Jay Jay and Ernie Zakri. The concert started at 8.58pm and ended at 11.28pm.

Till next week, hoping that we'll be able to get the tickets for Coldplay concert which starts selling at 10am today.

Dayang Nurfaizah & MPO: Belagu

Tickets to Dayang Nurfaizah & MPO: Belagu concert in Dewan Filharmonik Petronas were on sale Wednesday, December 14, 2022. Belagu means to sing in Sarawak Malay dialect. The tickets start from RM255 to RM650.  Ours are RM355. 

The concert was held on Saturday, March 11, 2023. We had dinner at Ben's located at Lot No.140, Level 1, Suria KLCC before the concert. I had sar hor fun (RM38.28) and watermelon juice (RM17.40) 

while my friend had nasi kerabu (RM38.28).

We reached Dewan Filharmonik Petronas at 8.20pm. Our seats are M25 and M26. The concert started with overture by the 60-strong Malaysian Phiharmonic Orchestra led by conductor, Ahmad Muriz Che Rose.

All music arrangements for the concert were by Aubrey Suwito.

Audience is not allowed to take photos or videos during the concert so none taken until the end of the show where everyone is allowed to do so during the last song.

The concert started at 8.40pm and ended at 10.40pm.

Kesuma Jiwa

Kesuma Jiwa is a fashion show cum concert to celebrate 20 years of friendship between Dato' Rizalman Ibrahim and Dayang Nurfaizah binti Awang Dowty. Tickets to the concert in Istana Budaya were sold out within 15 minutes after they went on sale at 10am on Monday, October 28, 2019. The tickets start from RM150 to RM500.  Was lucky to get two tickets to the concert.

Dress code is baju Melayu hitam teluk belanga/cekak musang bersamping or black suit for male and baju kurung/kurung moden/kebaya paras lutut berselendang for female.

We reached Istana Budaya at 6pm and walked around waiting like the rest.

Audience is not allowed to take photos or videos during the concert so none taken until the Gurindam Jiwa song. The songs performed during the concert are:
1. Kesuma Jiwa - Dato' Rizalman & Dayang Nurfaizah
2. Tari Tualang Tiga
3. Mengapa Dirindu
4. Hati Ke Hati
5. Itulah Sayang

The concert started at 8.35pm and ended at 11.15pm.

We had dinner at Hometown Hainan Coffee located at No.7-LG-1, Block A, Megan Salak Park, Jalan 2/125E,  Taman Desa Petaling, 57100 Kuala Lumpur after the concert. We both had fried kuay teow and hot lemon tea.

Till next week, it was a great concert and definitely worth the wait and effort to buy the tickets.

Dayang Dua Dekad Concert

Dayang Nurfaizah binti Awang Dowty (born on July 20, 1981 in Kuching, Sarawak) is a Malaysian singer.  Tickets to her concert in Istana Budaya were sold out within hours after they went on sale at 2pm on February 14, 2019. The concert was held to celebrate her 20th anniversary in the industry.  The tickets start from RM125 to RM695.  Was lucky to get two tickets to the concert.

We had dinner at Levain Boulangerie & Pattiserie located at No.7, Jalan Delima, off Jalan Imbi, 55100 Kuala Lumpur before the concert. I had seafood aglio olio spaghetti and my friend had carbonara spaghetti.

We reached Istana Budaya at 7pm and walked around waiting like the rest.

Audience is not allowed to take photos or videos during the concert so none taken until the end of the show where everyone sang birthday song to the birthday girl. 

The concert started at 8.45pm and ended at 11.15pm.

Taylor Swift's first ever Malaysian concert

The Red Tour was the third worldwide concert tour by Taylor Swift. The tour was launched to support her fourth studio album, Red. It began on March 13,2013 in Omaha, Nebraska and concluded on June 12, 2014 in Singapore.

Taylor Swift arrived in Kuala Lumpur at 2pm on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 aboard a special Taylor Swift Airbus A320 launched by AirAsia for her Malaysian leg of the Red Tour presented by Cornetto in South East Asia. The lead sponsor for her KL show is AIA.

Tickets to her concert in KL were sold out within hours after they went on sale on March 1, 2014.

I never planned to go to her concert but two days before the concert, a friend called up and asked me to go with her so there I was... enjoying Taylor Swift's concert with 7,499 others ~ 7,500 attended the concert ~ held at Putra Indoor Stadium, Bukit Jalil :)
