Petronas Twin Towers Skybridge and Observation Deck

Petronas Twin Towers is located at 201A-C, Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur City Centre, 50088 Kuala Lumpur. The Skybridge was opened in May 2019. Its operating hours are from 9am to 9pm daily. Bought the entrance fee online for RM35.

The towers are connected at floors 41 and 42 by a two-story sky bridge which span 54.4m and rises 170m above the ground.

Went there on Friday, June 6, 2025 with my sister and eldest brother. We reached there at 2pm and went up right at 2.30pm. We were allowed to walk on the skybridge taking photos for 10 minutes. 

The view from the skybridge is amazing.

Then we went to the observation deck on the 86th floor for 15 minutes. 

We left at 3.10pm.

A day out at Zoo Negara

Zoo Negara is located at Jalan Taman Zooview, 68000 Kuala Lumpur. It was opened on November 14, 1963. Its operating hours are from 9am to 5pm daily. Bought the entrance fee online for RM37 per adult. This is the second time I've been here after so many years.

Went there on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 with my sister and eldest brother. We reached there at 10am and watched the animal show at 11am. We walked around to see the animals ~ the snakes, giraffe, birds, crocodiles, penguin, elephants and many more. Unfortunately, the Pandas had gone back to China. We left at 2pm.

A day out in Taman Tun Dr Ismail and 1 Utama Shopping Mall

Common Man Coffee Roasters is located at Plaza VADS, A-G-1, New Podium, No.1, Jalan Tun Mohd Fuad, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, 60000 Kuala Lumpur. Its operating hours are from 8am to 5pm on weekdays and from 8am to 6pm on weekend.

Went there for breakfast on Sunday, January 26, 2020 with two friends. We ordered tropical berry waffle (RM32) ~ fresh waffle topped with vanilla ice cream, berries, spicy nut brittle, mango and kiwi fruit ~

Common Man fluffy pancakes (RM29) with caramelised bananas, walnuts, salted caramel sauce, nutty crumble and berry coulis,

Turkish Common Man breakfast (RM39)

~ phyllo-wrapped soft boiled organic eggs, crispy feta, fresh cucumber and tomatoes, olives and hummus with pita bread ~

and beef cheek eggs Benedict (RM37)

~ tender braised beef cheeks, two poached organic eggs with chive hollandaise nested on house greens and sourdough toast ~

After that, two of us went for 2 hours Thai aromatherapy massage (RM126.50) at Health Land located at No.24, Jalan Tun Mohd Fuad, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, 60000 Kuala Lumpur.

We had lunch at Teppanyaki located at LG 327, One Utama, Bandar Utama, 47800 Petaling Jaya. Its operating hours are from 11am to 10pm daily. I had beef teppanyaki (RM16.90) with hot green tea while my friend had chicken teppanyaki (RM12.90) with iced green tea.

Last stop is Big Tree KL located at 32, Jalan Tun Mohd Fuad 2, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, 60000 Kuala Lumpur. Its operating hours are from 10am to 6pm daily except Friday and Saturday 10am to 9pm. We ordered triple chocolate cake (RM10), hibicus tea (RM6.35) and latte (RM6.35).

A day out in Shah Alam

The Third Letter is located at No.2, Jalan N U8/N, Seksyen U8, 40150 Shah Alam. Its operating hours are from 11am to 10pm daily.

My friend and I went there for late lunch on Chinese New Year eve, Friday, January 24, 2020. 

Both of us had pasta and we shared brownies with ice-cream.

Next stop is AEON Mall Shah Alam located at No.1, Jalan Akuatik 13/64, Seksyen 13, 40100 Shah Alam. We did a bit of shopping before spending 2 hours (RM30 hours per hour) at K Song Family KTV.

Around 9.35pm, we went for late dinner at Pakli Kopitiam located at 42, Jalan Kristal K7/7, Seksyen 7, 40000 Shah Alam. I had golden fried rice and hot lemon tea while my friend had nasi lemak rendang ayam.

A day out in Damansara Uptown and Nu Sentral Mall

Frisson Coffee Bar is located at 71, SS21/1a, Damansara Utama, 47400 Petaling Jaya.

Its operating hours are from 11am to 10.30pm on weekdays and from 9am to 10.30pm on weekend.

Went there for brunch on Saturday, March 30, 2019 with two friends.
