Fresca Mexican Kitchen & Bar serves classic Mexican cuisine. It has two outlets in Klang Valley. We had lunch at their outlet at Lot G-242A, Ground Floor, The Gardens City Mall, 59200 KL on Tuesday, October 17, 2017. Opening hours are from 11am to 11pm daily.

We ordered their weekday set lunch specials  which comes with soup and drink.

  We shared fish tacos (RM34) and grilled chicken with white rice (RM30).

Celebrating birthday at Tony Roma's

Last Friday, October 13, 2017, we treated our teammate for lunch at Tony Roma's at Nu Sentral Mall (again!). We ordered the value lunch deals (RM18.90) which come with soup and a bottomless soft drink. Not the same deals as we ordered last month, of course.

This time we had white barbeque chicken
~ a juicy, quarter chicken basted with white BBQ sauce served with French fries and coleslaw ~

Tony's Asian salad with grilled chicken
~ fresh chopped Asian greens, diced red peppers, sweet Thai chilli sauce, cilantro, fried wonton noodles and sesame seeds topped with grilled chicken ~

and spicy chicken pasta
~ chicken lightly sauteed with garlic, fresh basil, tomato pesto and a hint of chipotle served over linguine and topped with shaved Asiago cheese ~

Her actual birthday is on Saturday, October 14, 2017 so it was a day in advance.

Lunch at Peranakan Place

Our team had our lunch treat at Peranakan Place on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. Peranakan Place is located at Lot L5.03 & 04, Nu Sentral Mall. Its business hours are from 10am to 10pm daily.

We ordered fried chicken,

honey sotong,

assam fish,

omelette,

fried kangkung,

sambal petai prawn

and pandan chicken.

Dinner at Sushi Tei

My ex-colleague and I went for dinner at Sushi Tei located at Unit 8, Nu Sentral Mall last Friday, October 6, 2017. It has been over 5 months since we have had dinner together. I posted about dinner here before but of course, we didn't order the same food as our last visit. I just can't get enough of Japanese food so came here again. 

 We shared avocado salmon skin salad (RM16.80), 

ebi & yasai tempura (RM13.60),

one purple plate sushi (RM10.40),

  two blue plates sushi (RM7.20),

and chocolate ice cream Monaka (RM11.80) for dessert.

Visiting a patient at KPJ Rawang

My ex-colleague was admitted to KPJ Rawang Specialist Hospital on her birthday, Wednesday, September 13, 2017.  KPJ Rawang Specialist Hospital is located at Jalan Rawang, 48000 Rawang, Selangor. It commenced operations on March 31, 2014.  

Her surgery was scheduled  at 8.30 am the next day so I went to the hospital at 1.30 pm but was informed that she is still in the operating room so left the basket of fruits in her room.

She was discharged on Sunday, September 24, 2017 and was given 6 weeks rest from work.

Brunch at Caffeinated Cabin

Caffeinated Cabin is located at 64, Jalan 5/8, Jalan Gasing, 46000 Petaling Jaya. Its business hours are from 7am to 7pm from Tuesday to Sunday. It is closed on Monday. It is pretty hidden as there is no signboard. 

Went there for brunch on Saturday, September 23, 2017. There is only a few people when we came around 11.15 am and still as empty when we left around 2.30 pm.

We ordered orange juice (RM9.90),

 hot chocolate (RM11),

 scrambled eggs and pulled chicken (RM21.90)

 and chicken stew (RM24.90).

Brunch at Jemi Cafe

Jemi Cafe serves western food and dessert. Its business hours are from 11am to 10pm on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday and 11am to 11pm on Friday and Saturday. It is closed on Tuesday.

It is located at 17-1, 2/109F Plaza Danau Desa 2, Taman Danau Desa, off Jalan Klang Lama, 58100 Kuala Lumpur. 

Went for lunch there on Friday, September 22, 2017.

We were the first customers at 11.10 am.

Ordered big breakfast ~ scrambled eggs, baked beans, chicken ham, sausage, sauteed mushroom, hash brown, salad and bread ~ and orange juice (RM23.90)

Ordered fried fish fillet served with fries and salad (RM18.90) and energiser fresh juice ~ apple+pear+beet root+carrot+lemon (RM9.90)
