Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way.
Oh! what fun it to ride in a one-horse open sleigh.

Received my first three gifts on Monday, December 15, 2014
and more the next few days.

Back in Sibu, Christmas tree decoration competition has turned Sibu Town Square into a Christmas Wonderland. This year, twenty-one corporate organisations participated in the competition.

Breakfast at Moonlight Cake House

Moonlight Cake House is located at No.1, Jalan Radin Bagus 9, Sri Petaling, 57000 KL. It was opened on December 2, 2014. Its business operation is from 8am to 1am daily.
Moonlight Cake House Sdn Bhd started business at Taman Gaya, JB in 2007 as bakery and set up a cafe in 2010.
We went there for breakfast after our morning walk at Taman Bukit Jalil on Saturday, December 20, 2014.
There is a variety of cakes and pastries baked fresh daily.
The movie themed cakes look interesting!
The durian cake is unique as it replicates the actual fruit.
The dining area is upstairs and the staircase is quite steep.
We had chocolate bun, BBQ chicken bun, tortilla with sausage, bacon and salad with tea.
Location ~ not too far
Taste ~ not too bad
Price ~ affordable
Service ~ not so good as the waitresses are unable or refused to speak English
Probably not coming back so soon...

Till next week, happy new year 2015!

Brunch in Bangsar

On Sunday, December 14, 2014, we went to Antipodean Cafe located at 20, Jalan Telawi 2, Bangsar Baru,  59100 KL. Its business hours are from 8am to 10pm daily.

The menu is on the wall so we have to turn our heads to the wall to see the menu which is quite an inconvenience. There are so many choices that it took us a while to decide.

Here's what we finally decided to have... Muesli with honey and yogurt fruit salad (RM16),

smoked salmon omelette (RM20)
and porridge, honey and banana (RM15).
The place was crowded and we were lucky to secure seats inside.  People are still queuing when we left.

Right after that, we went to Moo Cow Frozen Yogurt Cafe located at 4, Jalan Telawi 4, Bangsar Baru, 59100 KL. Its business hours are from 10am to 10pm daily. It was a relief to see that it's empty.
We had pink guava and champagne grapes (RM10.90 for 1 + free 1).
I've seen and heard of it before but this is the first time I tried it. It is good :)

Till next week, wishing everyone a joyous Christmas!

Dinner at B.Bap Korean Food Restaurant

Before end of the year, four of us had dinner at B.Bap Korean Food Restaurant located at Lot GF.08, Nu Sentral Mall on Monday, December 15, 2014.
B.Bap offers wholesome popular Korean dishes.

I simply love the pancake
~ always had it whenever I come here ~
We only managed to meet up thrice this year so it was nice to catch up.

Thanks for the fridge magnet!
Till next week, looking forward to my not-so-long year end break :)

Scaling

Last Saturday, December 13, 2014, I visited my dentist at Red Apple Dental Clinic. Glad that the dentist declared there was nothing wrong with my teeth so it was just scaling.

Here's what I got
Not bad eh?

Let's continue with dinner next...

Celebrating birthday at Aroy Nae Non Thai Restaurant

Last Friday, December 12, 2014, I treated a friend for her belated birthday dinner. Her actual birthday was a week earlier :( I actually have another place in mind but it was raining cats and dogs so we have to go somewhere with covered parking. We ended up at The Scott Garden. We walked around and saw this bunting so we decided to go there.
Aroy Nae Non Thai Restaurant is located at 2-47-48, The Scott Garden.  This is obviously our first visit to the restaurant.
Our choices are mostly the chef's recommendation.
The first dish was stir fried Hong Kong kailan and mushroom with oyster sauce.
~  not bad ~
The second dish is steamed garoupa with chilli lime soup.
~ the fish was overcooked ~
The third dish is seafood minced cake with special sauce served in hot plate.
~ tastes alright ~
Lastly, our desert, Thai style rice ball soup.
~we asked for a hot one but it was served cold so asked them to reheat~
Don't think I will come again :(

Here's wishing another year of success and good health!
