Taylor Swift's first ever Malaysian concert

The Red Tour was the third worldwide concert tour by Taylor Swift. The tour was launched to support her fourth studio album, Red. It began on March 13,2013 in Omaha, Nebraska and concluded on June 12, 2014 in Singapore.

Taylor Swift arrived in Kuala Lumpur at 2pm on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 aboard a special Taylor Swift Airbus A320 launched by AirAsia for her Malaysian leg of the Red Tour presented by Cornetto in South East Asia. The lead sponsor for her KL show is AIA.

Tickets to her concert in KL were sold out within hours after they went on sale on March 1, 2014.
I never planned to go to her concert but two days before the concert, a friend called up and asked me to go with her so there I was... enjoying Taylor Swift's concert with 7,499 others ~ 7,500 attended the concert ~ held at Putra Indoor Stadium, Bukit Jalil :)
Till next week, continue watching the World Cup 2014 group matches and of course, Austria GP, this weekend

Lunch at Hokkaido Ichiba Japanese Restaurant

I had lunch at Hokkaido Ichiba Japanese Restaurant with an old friend on Tuesday, May 13, 2014. She was my classmate in secondary school.  We have managed to keep in touch over the years but haven't met at all and she looks the same.
Hokkaido Ichiba Japanese Restaurant is located at LG101, Promenade, 1 Utama Shopping Centre, No.1, Lebuh Bandar Utama, Bandar Utama Damansara, 47800 PJ. It commenced in September 2010. Its opening hours are from 10 am to 10 pm from Sunday to Thursday and from 10 am to 10.30 pm on Friday and Saturday.
We had salmon sashimi zen and sashimi tempura zen but we were so immersed in conversation that there was no photo taken on the food :(
It was a great meeting considering we haven't seen each other in over 20 years. Instead of reminiscing the good old school days, we talked about the countries we've been to in the past year.

Till next week, gonna watch the F1 street race in Monte Carlo this weekend :)

Dinner at Dubu Dubu

We chose to have Korean food for our Q2 dinner.  We had it at Dubu Dubu located at Lot LG-048, Lower Ground Floor, Mid Valley Megamall on Monday, May 12, 2014.

Dubu Dubu simply means tofu. It serves a wide selection of Korean favourites. Currently there are 6 outlets in Klang Valley.

We ordered set for 4 (RM79.90++)
which consists of seafood soondubu jigae,
4 bowls of Dubu Dubu rice,
chicken kimchi gogi ~ replacement for Korean spicy wings or honey mustard wings which were out of stock :(
chicken honey garlic bulgogi,
Pa-Jeon,

roasted barley tea,
4 desserts
and free flow banchan (side dishes).

Another good time, good meal and good company :)

Breakfast at Bakeroni Cafe

Bakeroni Cafe was established since 2003. It is located at 9, Jalan Desa Jaya, Taman Desa, 58100 KL. Its operating hours are from 7.15 am to 10 pm on Monday to Saturday and from 9 am to 10 pm on Sunday.
There is a range of homemade cakes and bread baked fresh daily.
It may be a western cafe but it also serves authentic local food.
We went there for breakfast after our morning walk at Taman Tasik Permaisuri on Saturday, April 19, 2014.
We had tomyam beehoon (RM5.20) and egg, turkey slice and cheese sandwiches (RM8)
which come with drinks, tea and coffee.
Location ~ nearby
Taste ~ good
Price ~ reasonable
Service ~ good
Definitely coming back... we like the cozy environment.

Till next week, trying not to miss the Spanish GP this weekend
