We made a plan to go to Da Nang on Sunday, July 23, 2023. I booked flights on Friday, July 28, 2023 and accommodation the next day.
We departed from KLIA on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 10.05am and arrived at Da Nang International Airport at 11.45am.
We got on the hotel shuttle bus at 1.30pm and reached Haian Beach Hotel & Spa at 1.45pm. It is located at 278 Vo Nguyen Giap, Bac My Phu, Ngu Hanh Son, Da Nang 550000, Vietnam.
While waiting to check in, we went to 22nd floor to take a look at their rooftop swimming pool.
We checked in at 2.05pm.
Our room is facing the beach so it was a nice view.
At 5.30pm, we were picked up to join the nightlife tour. Our first stop is the Asia Park - Sun World Da Nang Wonders.
We got on the ferris wheel for about 15 minutes.
We had dinner at MeliOh Bistro Da Nang located at A4 Dao Xanh 4, Khu Biet Thu Dao Xanh, Hai Chau, Da Nang 550000, Vietnam.
It opens daily from 7am to 10pm.
After dinner, we got on a boat to watch the dragon breathes fire and water at 9pm.
We were cruising the river for an hour.
We got off the boat at 9.30pm and we are back at the hotel at 9.40pm.
On Sunday, August 27, 2023, we walked to My Khe beach right across the hotel to watch sunrise at 5.35am.
We had breakfast at the hotel at 6am. Then we decided to walk and look around for souvenirs.
We had fish and chips for lunch at the hotel rooftop bar, Manarola at 1pm. It is located on the 22nd floor where the swimming pool is.
We had a 60-minute back therapy massage at 4.30pm. After massage, we were served with mushroom soup and fruits.
We had dinner at 6.30pm at Istanbul Anatolian Kebab House located at 58 Le Quang Dao, Bac My Phu, Ngu Hanh Son, Da Nang 550000, Vietnam. It opens daily from 11am to 11pm.
After dinner, we dropped by Highlands Coffee at 7.30pm where I had hazelnut tea.
On Monday, August 28, 2023, we were picked up at 7.30am. We got on the cable car at Ba Na Hills.
At 1.15pm, we had lunch at local restaurant, Organic Hai Sam Vi Dieu.
After lunch, we made a quick stop to buy dried mangos.
At 3.30pm, we got on the 5-storey elevator at Marble Mountain and entered Hoi An City.
At 4.39pm, we walked at the night market at Hoi An
followed by boat ride lanterns in the river.
We were asked to make a wish and let the lantern float on the river.
We were back in the hotel at 7.40pm. We walked to Indian Aroma Restaurant located at 24 An Thuong 6, Bac My Phu, Ngu Hanh Son, Da Nang 550000, Vietnam. It opens daily from 11am to 3pm and 6pm to 11pm.
We were there from 8pm to 9.20pm.
On Tuesday, August 29, 2023, I walked on the beach for half an hour before breakfast at the hotel at 6am.
After a rest in the hotel room, we decided to walk to Istanbul Anatolian Kebab House for lunch.
On Wednesday, August 30, 2023, we had breakfast at the hotel at 6am before we checked out at 8.20am.
We departed from Da Nang International Airport at 11.25am and arrived at KLIA at 3.50pm.
