Breakfast at Banglo 289

Banglo 289 Restaurant is located at 289, Jalan Raja Chulan, Bukit Ceylon, 50200 Kuala Lumpur. It closes on Mondays and opens from 7am to 4pm daily.

We were there on Saturday, November 5, 2022. I had lempeng nyioq (RM5.00) and lemon tea with honey (RM5.00) while my friend had lempeng pisang (RM5.50) and Nescafe (RM4.00).

I had lemon tea with honey (RM5.00) while my friend had Nescafe (RM4.00). We shared ubi kayu rebus ~ steamed tapioca served with grated coconut and sambal hijau ikan bilis (RM6.00).

My friend also had roti boom with chicken curry (RM6.50).

Parking ~ open carpark, not organised so we have to wait for the cars moved before we can leave the parking

I tendered my resignation on Wednesday, June 16, 2021. Friday, August 13, 2021 was my last working day.  My last day on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 marked my three years, three months and 15 days with my last employer.

With the covid-19 pandemic and most of my colleagues working at home,  there is no farewell meals. On Friday, August 13, 2021, I received a chocolate cake in the morning and another in the afternoon. 

I also received Anna Sui Fantasia Forever with a farewell card

and lots of chocolates from my staff.

When I reached home, I received a Which Kraft Project gift basket of chocolate chip cookies, soy candle and teadrop chamonile blossoms from my other colleagues.

My Day

Last year my birthday was during MCO where no one is allowed to dine out. Hence all the gifts delivery...

The first gift was received on Sunday, July 25, 2021. It is a very sweet brownies.

On the same day, I also received a stacked brownies with balloons 

and Fruitealicious fruit tea gift bag.

On my birthday, I received Junandus chocolate truffles and pralines,

twelve roses cake,

ten Kindori ice-cream,

Royce champagne pierre mignon chocolate

and Rararitchy chocolate cake.

On Tuesday, July 27, 2021, I received mee kolok and three penyaram from Sarawak Cafe for dinner. The next day, Wednesday, July 28, 2021, I received O'Brien's chicken tripledecker toastie and Irish breakfast tea.

On Thursday, July 29, 2021, I received a Cake Rush 'I love u 4ever' cake from Kobo Bakery.

On Friday, July 30, 2021, I received two Bathaideas unscented candle and lemongrass and coffee oat bath salt.

Till next week, I felt so loved on my birthday despite the Covid-19 pandemic.

Breakfast at Foliage Coffee

Foliage Coffee Cafe is located at 9-11, Jalan Desa Utama, Taman Desa, 58100 Kuala Lumpur.

Its operating hours are from 9am to 6pm daily.

Went there for breakfast on Saturday, October 2, 2021 with my friend.

I had ham and cheese croissant with nachos (RM12) and tea (RM8) while my friend had tuna croissant with nachos (RM12) and cappuccino (RM11). 

We shared apple strudel (RM3) and scones (RM5) and chocolate roll (RM4).

Breakfast at Malaya Garden Cafe

Malaya Garden Cafe is located at 1A, Jalan Balai Polis, 50000 Kuala Lumpur. Its operating hours are from 9am to 9pm daily.

Went there for breakfast on Saturday, May 28, 2022 with my friend. I had hibiscus tea while my friend had coffee.

I had Colonial Big Breakfast ~ chicken sausage, scrambled egg on sourdough, baked bean beef bacon, smoked duck slice, tatter tots, roasted cherry tomatoes, mushroom and coral salad (RM36) while my friend had Malaya Big Breakfast ~ sourdough toast, smoked duck chip, soft boiled egg, ulam with local-infused salad dressing, mushroom and homemade chicken, otak-otak patty and percik sauce (RM33).

Dinner at Chillax Restaurant

Now that I posted the updated ones, let's get back to the events earlier this year.

My ex-colleague and I went for dinner at Chillax Restaurant located at CC, Tropicana Gardens Mall, 12, Jalan PJU 3/21, Tropicana Indah, 47810 Petaling Jaya, Selangor on Wednesday, March 30, 2022. It opens from 11.30am to 10pm daily.

I had hot lemon tea (RM2.90). 

I had fish & chips (RM26.90) and my friend had spaghetti carbonara (RM23.90).

We also shared the mix chillax (RM42.90).

After dinner, we had hot chocolate at Starbucks.
