Dinner at Baan Thai 2 Seafood & Thai Cuisine

My ex-colleagues and I went for dinner at Baan Thai 2 Seafood & Thai Cuisine located at Lot pt 15288a, Jalan Kuchai Lama, 58200 Kuala Lumpur on Saturday, October 22, 2022. It opens from 2.30pm to 11pm daily. Baan Thai means Thai home or Thai house. It opened in 2016. The three of us reached the restaurant around 7.15 pm and joined the queue to get in.

I had hot honey lemon (RM6.90) while both my ex-colleagues had iced lemon tea (RM6.90 each). Each of us had a bowl of white rice (RM2.50 each). We shared deep fried pandan chicken (RM29.90), 

deep fried talapia with herbs (RM59.90),

 green curry (24.90),

omelette (RM18.90)

stir fried kailan with salted fish (RM24.90)

and red ruby (RM9.90).

Dinner at Meat Point Steakhouse

My friend and I went for dinner at Meat Point Steakhouse located at 62, Jalan Burhanuddin Helmi, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, 60000 Kuala Lumpur on Saturday, October 15, 2022. It opens from 11am to 11pm daily.

I had kedondong juice (RM17) and grass fed ribeye (RM81.80) 

while my friend had calamansi juice (RM15) and lamb loin bone in (RM91.10).

We shared the dessert, creme brulee (RM13).

Parking ~ roadside so it is a bit difficult to get one

Food presentation ~ presentable
Taste ~ really delicious

Lunch at The Dim Sum Place

My friend and I went for lunch at The Dim Sum Place located at 16, Lorong Rahim Kajai 14, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, 60000 Kuala Lumpur on Sunday, August 21, 2022. It closes on Mondays and opens from 12pm to 10pm for the rest of the week.

I had dry wonton noodle (RM13.90).

My friend had soup wonton noodle (RM13.90)

We shared deep fried fish skin with roasted salt and garlic (RM17.90), 

sesame ball (RM9.90)

and molten salted egg custard bun (RM9.90).

Breakfast at Neighbour's Coffee Bar

Neighbour's Coffee Bar is located at A-G-1, Seri Gembira Avenue, No.6, Jalan Senang Ria, Happy Garden, 58200 Kuala Lumpur. Opening hours is from 9.30am to 6pm daily. 

We had breakfast there on Sunday, August 28, 2022. We were the first as we arrived exactly at 9.30am. We have to scan the menu to order and our order were delivered to our table. 

I had oriental jasmine tea (RM12) while my friend had cold brew black coffee with lemonade (RM15).

We shared eggs benedict (RM25) 

and fuwa fuwa pancakes with seasonal fruits (RM23).

Celebrating birthday at Yahala Restaurant

On Thursday, September 15, 2022, I treated a friend for her birthday at Yahala Restaurant located at 84, Jalan Tengah, 50450 Kuala Lumpur. It serves Middle Eastern cuisine. Her actual birthday is on September 13.

There are lunch sets offered during lunch time but we ordered their a la carte menu.

The restaurant was empty when I arrived at 12pm. It was later almost full as the lunch crowds flocked in.

We started with fool with lamb (RM18) ~ fava beans cooked with onions, tomatoes, fragrant chillies and ground lamb meat under high temperature served with Malawah bread.

followed by kebab eggplant (RM38) ~ minced beef kebab alternated with grilled eggplant served with savoury bread and garlic sauce.

and lastly, brownies with ice-cream.

Seating ~ typical indoor only

Food presentation ~ interesting

Taste ~ delicious

Price ~ affordable

Service ~ above my expectation when they played the Arabic music along with the birthday song
