On Thursday, July 21, 2022, I had my first birthday treat at Heli Lounge Bar located at 34, Menara KH, Jalan Sultan Ismail, 50450 KL.

My friend paid for the entrance fee (RM100 per person) which comes with 2 drinks (cocktails and juices). 

I had Star Kiss ~ vodka, vanilla syrup and pineapple ~ while my friend had Hellusion (vodka, rum, triple sec, pineapple and lime).

It was raining when we arrived at 6pm so we had dinner at Nomo Restaurant while waiting for the rain to stop so we can go up to the rooftop.

We shared honey garlic pizza (RM32). Never had it before. It's honey, garlic sauce and mozzarella.

At 7.30 pm, we were allowed to the rooftop as the rain has stopped and we got to enjoy the city view.

It was such an amazing experience looking at the city view in day and night time.

At the rooftop, we had our second drink, lychee Martini ~ vodka, lychee syrup, lychee liquor & lime juice ~ for me and orange juice for my friend.

Lastly, we shared the strawberry lemon cheese cake (RM28).

On Monday, July 25, 2022, I received a hi-tea in a tiffin set (RM103.88) from De.Wan 1958 by Chef Wan. 

This set includes Vietnamese spring roll (first layer), nasi impit with kuah kacang (second layer) and karipap kentang, tauhu sumbat and mantau sambal merah (third layer).

On Tuesday, July 26, 2022, I received a Cake Rush romantic cake (RM59.90). It is a chocolate cake with fruits topping. It was such an awesome surprise as I thought I was not getting any cake on my birthday this year.

On Wednesday, July 27, 2022, I received macarons (chocolate, vanilla, pistachio, framboise, caramel sale & citron) by Cheesecake Factory Bakery (RM62.10) with a birthday card (RM4).

My second birthday treat was a dinner at Caffeine Cafe located at No.1G, Kuchai Lama, Jalan Kuchai Maju 4, Kuchai Entrepreneurs Park, 58200 Kuala Lumpur on Friday, July 29, 2022. 

I had lime juice (RM10) and she had apple juice (RM13). 

We shared nachos with Caribbean dip (RM16),

The Boss burger (RM30), 

and beef noodles shank & meatballs (RM28). 

Lastly, the birthday cake, a flourless chocolate cake (RM12).

I also received birthday gifts 

which is so useful I started to use the very next day.

On Tuesday, August 2, 2022. I had my third birthday treat at Envy Skydining located at Menara TA One, 22, Jalan P.Ramlee, 50250 Kuala Lumpur.

We started with smoked salmon & cream cheese bruschetta (RM30) and cocktails.

I had Cosmopolitan ~ vodka, lime juice and cranberry (RM30) and she had Blue Lagoon ~ vodka, blue curaçao, lime juice and lemonade (RM35).

We shared the seabass baked in foil (RM70),

 linguine marinara (RM70),

fries, calamari

 and chocolate tortino with ice-cream (RM30). 

 Took photos of the Twin Towers before we left for the night.

 On Saturday, August 6, 2022, I had dinner treat at Maristar located at LG 08, The Starhill, 181, Jalan Bukit Bintang, 55100 Kuala Lumpur.

I had watermelon juice (RM12) while she had orange juice (RM12). We shared the calamarata pasta (RM78) and tempura soft shell crab (RM38)

as well as the chocolate lava cake with ice-cream (RM32).

Dinner at Teppan Sakaba

Teppan Sakaba is located at Faber Towers, Lot G13, Jalan Desa Bahagia, Taman Desa, 58100 Kuala Lumpur. It opens from 12.30pm to 3pm and 5pm to 10.30pm daily. Three of us went there for dinner on Sunday, August 28, 2022.

We started with prawns

followed by beef and chicken sticks,

tempura platter,

fried rice

and beef burger with fries.

Celebrating birthday at Canopy Lounge Rooftop Bar

On Thursday, June 23, 2022, I treated a friend for her birthday at Canopy Lounge Rooftop Bar located at 183, Jalan Mayang, Kampung Baru, 50450 Kuala Lumpur. Her actual birthday is on June 21.

It's ladies night so we started with their house white wine.

We shared cheesy nachos (RM17.24), sweet potato fries (RM12.93), salt and pepper prawns (RM25), onion rings (RM15.52), pepperoni pizza (RM28.45) 

and her chocolate birthday cake (RM27).

Ended the night with summer fizz (RM42) and canopy fizz (RM42).

Location ~ in the city centre with great view

Parking ~ valet for RM15

Seating ~ indoor and outdoor

Food presentation ~ interesting 

Taste ~ delicious but the pizza not so much

Price ~ affordable

Service ~ good

Celebrating birthday at Bestow Restaurant

 On Thursday, June 15, 2022, I treated a friend for her birthday dinner at Bestow Restaurant located at 82, Lorong 1/77a, 55100 Kuala Lumpur. Her actual birthday is on June 19. 

We shared the pan-seared salmon in Portuguese sambal, garlic eggplant puree served with fries. 

I had Egyptian chamomile tea while she had lime & raisin cooler. 

Didn't take photo of the birthday cake with candle. It was a lemon meringue pie.
