Dinner at Jahhet and durian for dessert

Jahhet Fine Meat is located at Jalan Nirwana 1, Taman Nirwana, 68000 Kuala Lumpur. Its operating hours are from 12pm to 10.30pm daily except Friday 3pm to 10.30pm.

Five of us went there for dinner on Thursday, August 8, 2019.

After dinner, we drove to a durian stall and had a few durians before heading home.

Lunch at Little Bourke and dessert at Nutmeg

Little Bourke is located at 124, Jalan Burhanuddin Helmi, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, 60000 Kuala Lumpur. Its operating hours are from 7.30am to 5pm from Monday to Friday and from 7.30am to 6pm on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.

I went there for lunch with my ex-colleague on Tuesday, July 30, 2019.

I had chicken parma, salad and potatoes (RM36) and

she had 200g steak medium rare (RM69).

After lunch, we drove to Bangsar Village II for dessert at Nutmeg located at UGF-28A. Opening hours are from 10am to 10pm daily. I had coconut moonlight cake (RM18.56) and watermelon juice (RM15.08) while my friend had Pietros Dream (Ferrero) cake (RM18.56) and Nutmeg mixed fruit tea (RM12.76).

Dayang Dua Dekad Concert

Dayang Nurfaizah binti Awang Dowty (born on July 20, 1981 in Kuching, Sarawak) is a Malaysian singer.  Tickets to her concert in Istana Budaya were sold out within hours after they went on sale at 2pm on February 14, 2019. The concert was held to celebrate her 20th anniversary in the industry.  The tickets start from RM125 to RM695.  Was lucky to get two tickets to the concert.

We had dinner at Levain Boulangerie & Pattiserie located at No.7, Jalan Delima, off Jalan Imbi, 55100 Kuala Lumpur before the concert. I had seafood aglio olio spaghetti and my friend had carbonara spaghetti.

We reached Istana Budaya at 7pm and walked around waiting like the rest.

Audience is not allowed to take photos or videos during the concert so none taken until the end of the show where everyone sang birthday song to the birthday girl. 

The concert started at 8.45pm and ended at 11.15pm.

Till next week, it was a great concert and definitely worth the wait and effort to buy the tickets.

My Day

I received the first birthday card as early as Wednesday, May 29, 2019.

I received my first birthday present on Friday, July 12, 2019 from two of my new colleagues.

On Sunday, July 14, 2019, I had my first birthday treat at Bean Brothers located at G-1, The Linc, No.360, Jalan Tun Razak, 50400 KL.

 My friend had latte (RM13) and I had hot chocolate.

We shared cheesy buffalo fries (RM8), 

 chicken confit with truffle hollandaise, salt baked potato and balsamic glaze (RM30),

 Jalapeno Crab pasta with pickled jalapeno, anchovy, caper and white wine (RM34)

 and burnt cheese cake.

It was my first visit to The Linc so took a few photos.

My second birthday treat was a dinner at B.A.T.S Bar located at 18-GF & 18-1, Jalan Telawi 2, Bangsar Baru, 59100 Kuala Lumpur on Friday, July 19, 2019. Its operating hours are from 8am to 1 am daily.

We shared sausage & spice (RM18)

~ sliced chicken frank with onion and chillies with ketchup ~

 mushroom brushetta (RM14)
~ toasted ciabatta, mushroom ragout and cheese ~ 

 and pizza.

I had chocolate cake as birthday girl :)

as well as pavlova which I took home.

The next day, I had my third birthday treat at F.R.Copper located at 117, Jalan Aminuddin Baki, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, 60000 Kuala Lumpur.

 Its operating hours are from 9am to 12am daily except Saturday and Sunday from 8.30am to 12am.

  

 On Tuesday, July 23, 2019, I had lunch treat by my boss and two colleagues at Khunthai Thai Authentic Restaurant located at Petaling Jaya.

On Friday, July 26, 2018, I had lunch treat by my department at Piccadilly's. In the evening I had dinner treat from a friend at Take Eat Easy located at Pearl Suria Shopping Gallery, Jalan Klang Lama, Taman United, 58200 Kuala Lumpur.

I had lemon tea.

We shared Mongolian barbeque beef ribs with pilaf rice (RM54) and

 beef pull & twist (RM28)

~ grilled aromatic beef sate, purple onion, cucumber served with nacho chips and Asian twist special sauce ~

On Monday, July 29, 2019, I had dinner treat at Blackbyrd located at Platinum Park, Level 50, Naza Tower, 10, Persiaran KLCC, 50450 Kuala Lumpur.

We shared the wagyu beef satay,

Crispy Nori Crunch,

Iga bakar sambal idjo,

quesadillas

and lastly, chocolate brownies.

On Sunday, August 4, 2019, I had my last birthday treat from a friend at Colonial Cafe, The Majestic Hotel.
