Wedding reception at Kampung Teh, Mukah

As we are approaching the end of the year, our family attended my cousin's wedding reception at Kampung Teh, Mukah on Wednesday, December 27, 2017.

The wedding decorations are simple.  Here's the 'pelamin'

Haven't been to a Melanau wedding reception for a longgg time, it was a refreshing experience.

Meeting old friends in Sibu

Caught up with an old friend on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at H Coffee located at 4A, Jalan Kawi, 96000 Sibu.

Its opening hours are from 11am to 11.30pm daily. It is closed on Tuesday.

The cafe is decorated nicely for Christmas.

We had matcha bubble waffle, melting chocolate cake, hot chocolate (RM8.50) and iced trio latte (RM15.50).

On Saturday, December 30, 2017, we managed to catch up with another old friend at Coffee Code Cafe.

We had a piece of cake, 

 apple kiwi juice,

 hot chocolate,

 matcha pancakes

and waffle.

It was a good catch-up session.

Celebrating Christmas 2017

Received the first gift as early as Friday, December 1, 2017.

 This year I had a few pre-Christmas dinners with my colleagues, ex-colleagues and friends. The first one was at B.bap Korean Food on Tuesday, December 12, 2017.

We shared the festive platter (RM68.90) served with jumbo drink.

Received my second gift then.

My colleagues and I had dinner on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Sweetree Restaurant. 

Six of us shared the barbecue meat,



side dishes,

 pancake,

 tomyam soup,

 cheesy rice

 and oreo bingsu.

 We exchanged gift at the end of the dinner

and I had my third gift.

A colleague walked around the department distributing gifts on Monday, December 18, 2017 :)

In the evening, I had dinner with my ex-colleagues at Peranakan Place

where we exchanged gifts.

The next evening, I had dinner at Chilli Espresso with three friends

and of course, we exchanged gifts :)

 On Wednesday evening, December 20, 2017, our department had a Christmas buffet dinner at Le Meridien after work. 

We exchanged gift before dinner and I got my tenth gift.

On Christmas eve, I received Ferrero Rocher chocolate from an old friend from secondary school and she gave me the one and only Christmas card for last year.

Back in Sibu, Christmas tree decorations have turned Sibu Town Square into a Christmas Wonderland.

Received the last gift on Sunday, December 31, 2017.
