Dinner at Garden Lifestyle Store & Cafe

We had our first dinner together this year at Garden Lifestyle Store & Cafe located at Lot F-001, First Floor, Mid Valley Megamall on Thursday, May 12, 2016. This is the second time we had dinner here.

We had crunchy hazelnut cake while waiting for the guys to come.

We shared burger,

boxing chicken,

 pizza,

 and smoked salmon burger.

Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair 2016

Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair (KLIBF) is organised by the Ministry of Education, Malaysia through the National Book Council of Malaysia since 2013. Brunei, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Egypt, Indonesia, India, Singapore, Iran, Lebanon and United Kingdom also participated in this event.

It was held at Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) from April 29 to May 9, 2016. Opening hours are 10am to 7pm on Monday to Thursday  and 10am to 9pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free :) 

Went there on Sunday, May 8, 2016 and left in less than an hour...empty-handed :( Not much discount really.

Breakfast at Taiping Pao Pao Cafe

Taiping Pao Pao Cafe is located at 21, Jalan Puteri 1/6, Bandar Puteri, 47100 Puchong. Its business operation is from 8am to 10pm on Friday to Wednesday and closed on Thursday.

We went there for breakfast after our morning walk at Taman Bukit Jalil on Saturday, April 30, 2016.

It serves pao (of course), bread, nasi lemak, fried meehoon among others and variety of drinks.

We had calamansi juice (RM2) and coffee (RM3).

I had sweet potato bun (RM1.80) and kaya pao (RM2)

while my friend had char siew pao (RM2.40) and sang yuk pao (RM2.50).

Stepping in the cafe is like stepping back in time with the vintage decorations and background music. Didn't get to take photos of the vintage decorations on the wall though.

Just the light bulbs on the ceiling.

Location ~ quite far

Taste ~ alright

Price ~ reasonable

Service ~ not bad

Coming back?  ~ Probably, if happens to be nearby

Farewell Lunch at Franco Restaurant

We arranged to have a farewell lunch for our colleague whose last working day was on Friday, April 29, 2016. 

Eleven of us went to Franco restaurant on Tuesday, April 26, 2016. It is a French Japanese Fine Casual restaurant located at L3-06-08, Level 3, Nu Sentral Mall, 50470 Kuala Lumpur. Its business hours are from 10 am to 10 pm daily.

We ordered spaghetti Yumeina, carbonara, Arrabiata and pescatora

 riz au curry,

 pizza,

 souffle egg and cheese with beef and mushroom rice,

 souffle au Franco,

 and vanilla souffles.

That was the first time I had lunch there and I enjoy the food.
