Celebrating birthday at Nando's

On Thursday, December 12, 2013, thirteen of us treated our colleague for lunch at Nando's, Pavilion KL, a day after her actual birthday.

Didn't bother to take photos of all our orders as most of them are the same just different combination of sides.

Mine is butterfly chicken breast with garlic bread and chips

 and the birthday girl's 1/4 chicken with rice and potato wedges.

Our lunch went well until three colleagues didn't get their orders after an hour. The food is good but they've gotta improve on the service.

Big Bad Wolf Books Sale 2013

The Big Bad Wolf books sale was held at Mines International Exhibition & Convention Centre for 230 hours non-stop from 7am on December 6 to 9pm on December 15, 2013.

 Went there on Saturday, December 7, 2013.

 The sale offered 75% to 95% discount on all 3 million books.

After spending over an hour, just managed to buy four books for RM32.

Celebrating birthday at Indulge Cafe

Yesterday, Tuesday, December 3, 2013, I treated a birthday girl for dinner at Indulge Cafe. Her actual birthday is tomorrow :) This is the birthday girl's first visit to the cafe... mine, too.

Indulge Cafe is located at Blk A-0-11, Kuchai Business Park, No.2, Jalan 1/127, off Jalan Kuchai Lama, KL. Its business hours are from 11 am to 10.30 pm daily.

We started with cream of Trio Field Mushrooms soup served with garlic bread

followed by main course,

pan-seared butter fish on mashed potato, garden vegetable, tomatoes-cilantro salsa and citrus asian vinaigrette

pan-seared salmon with gratin potatoes, garden vegetable and fine herb cream sauce

and drinks, 

mine's hot chocolate

and of course, chocolate Mille Crepe Cake.

The soup was served cold that we have to ask them to reheat it and the sauce was salty. Would I come back here? Probably only for the Mille Crepe cake :)
