I have always wanted to go to Angkor Wat so I finally got there last month... so happy!
The flight is scheduled to leave LCCT at 6.35 am on Monday, September 2, 2013 so we were at LCCT around 4 am. We had breakfast at McD after we dropped our luggages. We arrived in Siem Reap at 7.50 am welcomed by our driver and our journey began...

1500 - 1900 After we freshen up in our rooms, we went to Cambodian Cultural Village
Cambodian Cultural Village assembles all the miniatures of famous historical buildings and structures, local customs and practices of all races. There are 10 unique villages which represent different cultural heritages with 8 show performance. We only managed to watch the Chinese traditional show at Chinese Village, Dreamy prince's daughter and magic peacock at Kola Village, Choosing fiance at Kroeng Village, Khantremming dancing at Khmer Village and rice praying at Phnorng Village. The shows were great and entertaining. It was worth the USD15 entrance fee.

Angkor Wat is one of the magnificent ancient archaeological wonder of the world which was built by King Suryavarman II dedicated to Vishnu God.
1600 - 1800 Walked up to the temple on top of Phnom Bakheng Hill to view the sunset
1800 -1900 Dinner at Orchidee Angkor Restaurant
2030 - 2130 Had an hour foot massage in our rooms for USD10… soothing

0845 - 0930 Lolei
1200 - 1300 Lunch at Khmer Village Restaurant

Checked out from the hotel on Saturday, September 7, 2013.
Departed from Siem Reap Airport at 8.25 am and reached LCCT at 11.35 am.
It was temple after temple after temple but we had so much fun together.
This trip was also an eye-opener for us... really makes us so grateful of what we have.
