Big Bad Wolf Books Sale

For 17 days, from December 7 to 23, 2012, the Big Bad Wolf books sale was held at MInes International Exhibition & Convention Centre from 9am to 9pm. The sale offered 75% - 95% discounts on 3,000,000 books.

Only managed to go to the aftermath sale in 2011 so I made sure I didn't miss again in 2012. My cousins and I went there on Saturday, December 15, 2012. Didn't find the kind of books that I read so ended up with only two books :(

Breakfast at Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie

Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie is a French-style bakery and cafe in a colonial-style bungalow located at No.7, Jalan Delima, 55100 Kuala Lumpur. Breads and pastries here are baked using natural yeast in a traditional stone oven. Its business hours are from 7.30am to 9pm on Monday to Sunday.

On Saturday, December 8, 2013, five of us had breakfast at Levain. 

While the three of them bought bread and pastries from the bakery, two of us ordered from the counter

We just like the food and ambience here.  Been here so many times before and definitely coming again.

Celebrating birthday at Morganfield's

It's the new year and time to celebrate a colleague's birthday.  We decided to have lunch at Morganfield's Restaurant on the actual birthday: Thursday, January 3, 2013.  The restaurant is located at Pavilion and open on Monday to Sunday from 11am to 1am.

The celebration started traditionally by singing the birthday song while she blew the candles, making wishes...

Celebrating birthday at Italiannies

Took half day leave on Thursday, December 6, 2012 to accompany a birthday girl for lunch at Italiannies, Paradigm Mall.  Made it just in time for the quick lunch (Monday - Friday from 11am - 3pm).

Started off with bread and pumpkin soup

spaghetti

and bread pudding.

For RM29.90++ it's worth it!

Celebrating Christmas 2012 and new year 2013

"On the ninth day of Christmas,

my true love sent to me

Nine ladies dancing,

Eight maids a-milking,

Two turtle doves,

Today is the ninth day of Christmas and the second day of the new year 2013.

Received lots of Christmas gifts this year, surprisingly ~ More than ten is considered a lot for me as it is definitely more than I ever received in the past years ~ Received gifts as early as December 10, 2012. Hmmm... not posting all the photos here, though.

 Even received two more today :)

No change in welcoming the new year, though... I did exactly the same as previous years.  I just sit back home and watched tv on new year eve and spent the new year day at the airport catching the flight back.
