Dinner at Coriander Leaf Cafe

Bought a Groupon deal for 2-course Asian Meal + drink + kaya butter toast at Coriander Leaf Cafe  for RM18 instead of RM33.80. The restaurant is located at A-M-2 North Point Offices, Mid Valley City, Jalan Lingkaran Syed Putra, 59200 Kuala Lumpur.

Redemption period is from October 18 to December 13, 2012 and we used it for dinner after work on Thursday, October 25, 2012 ~ the eve of Hari Raya Haji.

Started off with 2 slices of kaya butter toast.

There are over 40 dishes to choose from and we choose to have chicken chop

 and spicy prawn

Both comes with mixed vegetables and white rice.

The location: out of the way ~ wouldn't have thought of heading across to the other side of Mid Valley Megamall for a meal :(  

The food: taste ~ alright but presentation and combination of food ~ a no-no :(

Definitely no second visit :(

Hair Colouring at Inspiration Alan

It has been a while since I last had my hair coloured so I just browsed through the discount deal websites for good deal.  As usual, I easily found one - hair colouring + wash + blow for RM45 instead of RM137.90 at Inspiration Alan.  The salon is located at No.20, Jalan Telawi, Bangar Baru, 59100 Kuala Lumpur.

Redemption period is from August 18 to November 10, 2012. Made an appointment at 1pm on Friday, September 7, 2012 as the voucher is only valid from Monday to Friday only. Came 15 minutes earlier and started immediately. My dry hair required treatment so paid RM60 for it.

As usual, it's such a waste ~ my black hair just refused to give way to other colour.

Taman Pudu Ulu

On Saturday, September 15, 2012, we decided to go to another park, Taman Pudu Ulu. Unlike the other parks that we've been before, there is no lake at this park.

No jogging track - just the playground and exercise station.  Don't think we will come here for a walk again.

Kordel's Charity Walk 2012

Last Sunday, October 7, 2012, I joined the 4th Annual Kordel's Charity Walk for Healthy Joints with two of my colleagues.  It is aimed to kick-start a healthier lifestyle while raising awareness and funds for an extremely deserving cause - Arthritis Foundation Malaysia.

The Arthritis Foundation Malaysia is a non-profit organization set up to:

1)  increase the awareness of arthritis and its related conditions

2)  look after the welfare of arthritis patients who cannot afford joint replacement

Collection of T-shirts and bibs were on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Padang Merbok, Kuala Lumpur between 3 to 5 pm.

We were flagged off at 7.18am after a warm-up session. The 7km walk started and ended at Padang Merbok, Kuala Lumpur. 

We received a certificate of participation and a goodie bag upon completion.

There were rounds of lucky draw after the walk... Not lucky though :(

Anyway, it was real fun :)

A Walk Down Colourful Memories

This year our company annual dinner is held at JW Marriot on Thursday, September 27, 2012 and the theme is colourful.

This time it is free seating (yeah!) but the food is terrible and the service is just as bad :(

Still not luck this year. Not even a consolation prize :(
