                        Our family had lunch on Christmas eve

                        I fly to KL with my cousin on new year eve.

Till next week, tonight the company will be hosting the Lunar New Year Party for guests.

Afternoon tea at 23.5 Coffee Roastery

One rainy Friday evening, January 10, 2024, I went to 23.5 Coffee Roastery located at Lot 1-3A, Verve Shops, 8, Jalan Kiara 5, Mont Kiara, 50480 Kuala Lumpur. Its business hours are from 8am to 10pm daily.

Instead of having dinner, I decided to go light so I ordered egg mayo croissant (RM19.80).

I also ordered lemon poppyseed cheese cake and healthy vision overnight tea (RM26.40).

The last time I've been here was on March 9, 2023 where I had teriyaki chicken with rice (RM26.40) and watermelon juice (RM14.30).

Lunch at Chili's

On Sunday, December 29, 2024, I bought my sister lunch at Chili's 1 Utama, S311, 2nd Floor High Street, 1, Lebuh Bandar Utama, Bandar Utama, 47800 Petaling Jaya, Selangor. It opens daily from 11am to 10pm.

I had classic quesadillas ~ chicken with grilled onions and Monterey Jack cheese served with house-made pico & sour cream ~ (RM32.95) and guava juice (RM13.95) while my sister had sweet & smoky chicken sandwich ~ crispy breaded chicken with honey-chipotle sauce, house-made ranch, lettuce, slaw and tomato ~  (RM29.95) and mango juice (RM13.95).

Eating Sarawak food

Found this in my draft and decided to post it after more than 7 years...

Javian Kitchen serves Sarawak cuisine. It is located at 12G, Block D, Atmosphere 7, The Atmosphere, Jalan Putra Permai, 43300 Seri Kembangan, Selangor. 

We had lunch on Sunday, October 22, 2017. Opening hours are from 12pm to 10pm from Monday to Friday and 10am to 10pm on Saturday and Sunday.

We ordered Sarawak laksa (RM9) and kedondong juice (RM4.20).

  We shared fish tacos (RM34) and grilled chicken with white rice (RM30).

Celebrating birthday at Sushiya

On Thursday November 28, 2024, I treated two colleagues for their birthday lunch at Sushiya Ta. It opens daily from 8am to 11pm except Monday. It closes on Monday. His actual birthday is on November 14 while her actual birthday is on November 27.

I had grilled mackerel (RM30) and white rice (RM7) with green tea (RM4).

My two colleagues shared ladies sushiya set (RM42) 

and grilled salmon roll (RM24) with green tea.

Celebrating birthday at Hening Restaurant

On Sunday December 8, 2024, I treated my friend for her birthday lunch at Hening Restaurant located at Kampung Datuk Keramat 6, 55000 Kuala Lumpur. Her actual birthday is on December 11. 

                                                       

It opens daily from 8am to 6pm. 

There is no cake at the restaurant but we were allowed to bring in our own so I bought Sinful Mango cake for my friend.                                                    

I had hot lemon barley (RM9.90) while my friend had sirap selasih (RM6.00).

We had nasi putih daun pisang (RM4.00) and shared asam pedas ikan jenahak (RM45), ayam kicap berempah (RM25), kerabu pucuk paku (RM15), telur dadar (RM8)

We had gula Melaka ice-cream (RM9) and fruits (green apple, orange and watermelon) for desserts.
